Book Review – Consumed, Reduced to Beautiful Grey Ashes by Linda D Addison For Space and Time

Book Review – Consumed, Reduced to Beautiful Grey Ashes by Linda D Addison For Space and Time

Although only 31 poems, Consumed, Reduced to Beautiful Grey Ashes takes the reader in a million different directions as author Linda Addison ponders life, death and the love between. While some of the poems in this book are disturbing, like “Mourning Meal”, others are so personal that the reader may find themselves feeling like they are looking into a mirror more so than reading the words of another.

Consumed, Reduced to Beautiful Grey Ashes has a dark energy, not to be confused with being evil nor depression. Darkness in the sense of being the opposite of ignorant bliss. For example, there are poems of love that are not lighthearted in nature.

Linda Addison composes these poems in a way that explores the depth of emotions that can be conjured when you give yourself up in totality to another person. “Before You” is such a poem. The relinquishing of the subject’s independence is what we all experience on some level when we enter deeply into a relationship.

There are other poems in Consumed, Reduced to Beautiful Grey Ashes that exposes the curiosity of the writer. Poems like “A Bare Tree in February”, “Turning Edges” and “Breathe” ponder the origin of human existence in a way that only Linda Addison can render.

Consumed, Reduced to Beautiful Grey Ashes is a personal collection of poetry that is timeless in its approach to be an offering of one’s soul. The level of introspective creativity will call the reader to come back to the poems in this book time and again.

Affirmations can be used to improve practically any area of your life. It does not matter if the situation is a simple one or if it is absolutely critical, affirmations can be of great use. However many people who have used affirmations do not get the full benefit from them and even go as far as to claim they do not work. This is simply because they have not learned how powerful affirmations really are, how to use them to their fullest and why creating your own affirmations is so important.

What are affirmations used for?

Affirmations can be used in many areas of your life, for instance if you are going to an interview and you are feeling nervous you can use an affirmation like “I can do this, I will be a hit, I am a winner or I will succeed” to help you calm down and boost your moral and confidence. Affirmations can also be used to change your beliefs about something. Lets say you have the belief that there are no good men around anymore, you could use an affirmation like “I am open to the idea that there is a good man out there for me.” This will help you to change your belief about men. There are countless ways for you to use affirmations in your life.

Why write your own affirmations?

There are literally thousands of websites online offering you lists of affirmations that are supposed to change your life and although the affirmations are often powerful in of themselves, they often do not help the user for one simple reason. They are not specific to the users situation and beliefs. Here’s an example, suppose you are not happy about your body any you want to change the way you think about your body. So you choose an affirmation from a pre-written list that says, “I am beautiful and I love my body.”

Although this may be a good affirmation it is likely to be useless for anyone who is truly unhappy with his or her body. This is because if you have a negative belief and you try to change it by stating the direct opposite the first thing your mind will do is resist the positive statement as it is simply to big a jump from one end of the spectrum to the other. This is why it is so important to learn how to write affirmations that are specific and fully directed towards your needs.

Instead of trying to convince your mind of a fact that is directly opposite to what you believe, instead you would write an affirmation that is hopeful, positive and opens your mind to accepting a new belief. The affirmation could be something like, “I am making healthy choices to improve my body” or “little by little I am changing the way I look” or “I am open to the idea of reaching my perfect weight.”

When you soften your affirmations you receive less resistance and therefore stand a much greater chance of actually changing your beliefs and improving the negative self-talk. Then as your self-image improves you can make your affirmations even more powerful. The most important thing to remember when using affirmations is to focus on how the affirmation you are using makes you feel. If when you state the affirmation you feel tension or resistance to the words then the affirmation is too far away from your present belief and needs to be softened. Also when you do this you should include hopeful words and statements like “I intent to, I am moving towards, I am reaching for, and I am open to.”

Following these simple tips will help you to write powerful focused affirmations that will change your life and you will also be more in-tune with your feelings which will in turn help you to recognize when an affirmation is right for you and when it is not.

Beautiful Bakelite Jewelry

Beautiful Bakelite Jewelry

There is more to collecting jewelry than just focusing on precious metals and rare gemstones. A very popular market in the second hand market has sprung up and people are willing to spend fair amounts of cash to add these items to their personal collections. Vintage costume jewelry is a hot item. Specifically items made from vintage forms of plastic have become quite popular.

One of the most popular forms of old plastic jewelry sought after by collectors is Bakelite. Bakelite was a type of plastic used in a great number of household items ranging from flatware to telephones. It did not take long for it to catch on as a wonderful material for making jewelry as well. Earrings, bracelets, necklaces and all sorts of fashionable accessories were produced to take advantage of the plastic’s ability to show off amazing colors and stand up to daily use. Now these old relics are back in style and their sturdiness is paying off.

Many women who are in their later years already have a splendid variety of these now valuable baubles stashed away in jewelry boxes. Most probably do not realize how valuable their collections have become over time. Frequent visitors of estate sales know that one of the first places they should check when they arrive is the jewelry table. Vintage Bakelite jewelry gets scooped up in a hurry at these sales and is often resold on sites like eBay for a nice profit. The irony is that these items were first produced as a less expensive alternative for women during the war years of the 1940′s.

Bakelite was a welcome advance in the development of plastics. Earlier forms of plastic, such as celluloid were popular, but were also extremely flammable and less stable than Bakelite. This is not to say that Bakelite cannot be damaged. On the contrary, if you own any old jewelry made of this type of plastic, you should clean it with care and protect it as much as possible to maintain its wonderful finish.

Collecting jewelry is a great way to keep in touch with the past and celebrate fashion history. Vintage pieces of jewelry do not have to be filled with diamonds or emeralds to be valuable. Costume jewelry that has stood the test of time has earned a place in modern collections. Jewelry that has passed from one generation to the next can be especially precious to the lady wearing it. If you enjoy jewelry, take a look to the past. You might be surprised at the beautiful treasures you have been missing.

Play Fantasy Football and Get Beautiful Women Interested in You

Do you want to learn how to pursue your passion for fantasy football and learn how to get beautiful women at the same time? I love to play fantasy football and I love to date beautiful women. The two do not necessarily need to be mutually exclusive. To learn more read on…

OK first off let me make something instantly clear. I do not think you can actually MEET beautiful women WHILE playing FFB (Fantasy Football). FFB is a passion many guys have, as is dating women. The big thing is that it is the type of thing that makes many women roll their eyes. I am sure some play but not many. If you play in a league with a cute “female” chances are that it is really a dude trying to gain some advantage over you. Don’t fall for it.

What does Fantasy Football have to do with beautiful women?

A big part of it comes under, “what to avoid”. Let’s face it though I love FFB and it is fun, it is also a little dorky. You will not impress women talking about an amazing pickup you made off the waiver wire. 99% of women simply have no interest at all about it. When I think about fantasy sports I think of the movie” Knocked Up”. Paul Rudd plays a guy whose wife thinks he is cheating. She follows him trying to catch him “in the act”, only to stumble upon him at a fantasy baseball league meeting that he was sneaking out to. It was quite humorous. Paul had the right idea though; never let the woman know. That is guy stuff and should be kept among guys. Like the identity of your wingman. The first rule of FFB: don’t talk about FFB with women.

Positive Affirmations, how do they work? What changes can I expect?

Affirmations are one of the tools you can use to radically change your life. There is nothing new age, mystic, trendy or fashionable about them. Affirmation is part of an ancient ‘ Secret’, re-discovered and brought back to the limelight by TV. film and press, transforming with it several people into very wealthy gurus.

Affirmations have been around since man found the use of language and there is no secret ritual to use them.

You can basically have anything you want! This tool, if used correctly, will help you change, grow, and heal yourself.

I want to introduce you to the basics of positive affirmation and positive thinking. Later on you may want to surf the web and find out more about this fascinating subject.

When you start the affirmations, give yourself at least a thirty day tryout period. Depending on the seriousness of the problem you may need more time and more affirmations to achieve your goals. Talk to your family and friends about your resolution to change and ask them for their support. If it is a radical change you are envisioning a life-coach will be very useful suggesting the best approach to use and to keep you motivated. This is a big step. Opening up to relatives and friends show your commitment to change and solidify your intentions.

Don’t get discouraged, impatient or put off if nothing happens in a week or two. Just remember that you didn’t become this way overnight.

Affirmations can and will transform your life patterns and perception.

Affirmations support your positive thinking and together they form a very powerful and effective tool. They function as ‘key words’ of positive messages ‘dictated’ directly to the self. You consciously connect and direct your positive thinking to areas of your life that you want to change or heal. It works as a reminder to the self, keeping positive messages at the forefront of consciousness.

The benefits of affirmations are medically well established and really work.

On the other hand negative thoughts are just as powerful. So be aware of your negative thoughts as they are in essence self-destructive ‘key words:’ psychological mechanisms that make your life rotten.

First,  let’s check how aware you are of your thoughts.

Do you regularly have more positive or more negative thoughts running through you mind?

Only you can honestly answer that. So get ready.

If your subconscious is throwing out lots of negative thoughts then you must do some ‘brain-cleaning’ before moving into the desired new positive affirmation mode.

This may be very familiar to you, as your mind swirls with thoughts like: “I don’t like this, I like that, I feel great,  I hate him/her, I am afraid of, I don’t want them to see me like this, I am not sure about that, I feel rotten”.

Your mind incessantly interprets your experiences as an internal dialogue. These thoughts are generated on a deep level by your beliefs which were formed and accumulated from the time you were born.

We can’t control most exterior events of our lives but we do control how we interpret and react to them.

We create our own reality.

When we change our interpretation a change takes place in our reality.

So become aware of your thoughts. If you change your thinking, big changes will happen in your life.

Take a minute to think about why you are reacting to something or someone.

Get in touch with yourself. Accept the fact that these thoughts may have helped you in the past but they are out of place now that you have chosen to accept only positive thoughts and positive living.

While doing the new affirmations your mind will let go of the negative messages even if you are not aware if it.

Watch out also for resistance within yourself. With certain affirmations you may question, “What in the heck” – “are you kidding?”

It is ok, it is an old habit that is about to be changed. You grew up and had these thoughts for almost all of your life. Now it is time to form a new habit and you need lots of practice.

Let’s get started.

What would you like your life to be?

Think about it and write it down.

Fulfillment with your job, a happy family, better health, financial security?

Don’t hold back, go for it.

For the beginners the easiest way is to choose and write down two or three things you want changed.

For example, if you feel unloved and financially strapped, one of your affirmations could be: ” I am now ready to receive more love and wealth” and you may add  ”from the vast supply of the universe”.

If you also wrote down ‘low self-esteem’  the affirmation could be: “I am an awesome man/woman and I feel good about myself”.

Be creative, upfront and fearless. You are making a statement to yourself of your intentions.

Here are a few simple guidelines:

1- Present tense. Start all your affirmations in the present tense and have them already accomplished. You are telling your conscious mind that the affirmative action is taking place NOW and it is final. I AM HAPPY,  I CHOOSE JOY,  I HAVE CONFIDENCE. It is stronger and much more powerful than, I will be happy, or I am becoming happy, and so on.

2- How to phrase your affirmations. You can copy from an extensive list you’ll find on the Internet, use the examples below or simply write it down in your own words. Do it as plainly or as poetically as you speak. ” I am energetic and full of enthusiasm. I am safe, I am a prosperous man/woman. I attract positive people, I release my anger.” Make copies of it and leave it around the house, car and your office desk. The more you are reminded of the positive affirmations the more your mind will accept the new concept you are bringing forth. You will create a new positive reality and the universal energy will do the rest to connect this good energy to other positive energies.

3- Positive means Positive. Your subconscious usually focuses on the verb and relates it to past experiences. If you have fears, phobias or whatever, be careful with your choice of words. If you are afraid and say I am not SCARED, it will register I AM SCARED. The NOT was assimilated and ignored by your mind. Say instead I AM COURAGEOUS or I AM FEARLESS. Don’t use affirmations that have a negative attachment. You can comfortably use I ACCEPT, I CHOOSE, I DESERVE, I AM.  I developed one affirmation to counteract the negative thought that eventually peeks through, so I suggest you add it to the batch,  ”I ACCEPT ONLY THE GOOD AND THE POSITIVE.”

Starting as you wake up, say the affirmations out loud or in your head five times. Repeat the same process three to four more times during the day, the last one just before going to bed.

I suggest you end the affirmation session with a thank you  note. Gratitude will reinforce and validate the affirmations. Thank God, Jesus, a Spirit, the Force, the Universe or whatever you believe and feel comfortable with.

Visualize your affirmations with feelings and emotion. See yourself exactly as you are stating.  It will add an extra psychological dimension and have a much deeper impact on your mind. Using this method of visualization early in the morning and at night will make your affirmations much more successful.

You can use affirmations to help build self-confidence, self-esteem, self-improvement and personal growth. It can also help conquer your fears and anger management. Affirmations have been successfully used to relieve anxiety and depression and are an excellent tool for weight control.

If you check the web under Positive Affirmations you’ll find a multitude of books and affirmations to help you.

Five categories of affirmations support you in manifesting powerful change. These five categories or types of affirmations have emerged from my consulting work with clients and workshop participants. You may work with affirmations in every category concurrently, or you may focus on a different category each day or each week. It is important that affirmations you select resonate with you, that is, that they feel natural and appropriate. In order to experience this resonance, you may need to change words in the ones listed here as examples, or let these inspire you to create ones you prefer, or develop your own from scratch.

Popular Affirmations

Many popular affirmations are beautiful, indeed, they are quite extraordinary! However, if you do not believe them, they are useless or even counterproductive. If you say an affirmation you do not believe, saying it repeatedly will not make you believe it. Actually, the repetition can build up greater resistance to believing it. Consider this example: Sam feels powerless. He has had many experiences that he can point to that justify his feelings and his belief in his own powerlessness and unworthiness. Saying “I am powerful” is less likely to erase his feelings of powerlessness than to prompt an emphatic reaction, such as, “Oh, no, I’m not!” If Sam does not deal with the resistance, he carries it with him as he lives his life.

An empowering process emerges by using these five categories of affirmations in a systematic way to assist you in embracing an affirmation that you desire to believe but do not. If you have an intention and a desire to say and believe “I am powerful,” start by releasing powerlessness, open to the possibility of being powerful, affirm an intention and readiness to live in your power, claim your power, and let the idea of powerfulness integrate into your life.

Following are the five categories of affirmations described briefly with a few examples of each type.

Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations

The purpose of Releasing and/or Cleansing Affirmations is to let go of unwanted and unneeded stuff. Especially, they help you let go of resistance. They allow you to purify your system. These affirmations stimulate the release of toxins such as negative thought forms, repressed or suppressed emotions, old memories, negative bonds with others, karma, dark consensus reality, illusions of all types.

Examples:

I give myself permission to release toxicity from every level of my energy field.

I rescind outdated vows of poverty, celibacy, struggle, silence, and unworthiness.

I release resistance.

I let go of old programs that keep me stuck in old patterns.

I let go of everything I do not want or need for my highest good.

Receiving/Accepting Affirmations

The purpose of Receiving and/or Accepting Affirmations is to open to allow something to be. They allow us to receive goodness from the Universe. They neutralize the misqualification of energy; that is, they can reverse illness or other density. In addition, they help us shift the attention from disempowering actions such as, “getting” or “taking” to more freeing concepts such as, “receiving” and “allowing” and “accepting.”

Examples:

I open to the gifts of the Universe.

I allow abundance to flow through me.

I accept support when I need it.

Dear God, please let me know what to do in a way that I can understand.

I accept peace and joy in all aspects of my life.

Being/Intending Affirmations

The purpose of Being and/or Intending Affirmations is to ground your purpose, especially your higher purpose. These affirmations enhance conscious awareness of your intention about something or about your mission in life. In addition, these affirmations can deepen your understanding of your reason for being and/or acting generally or in a specific situation. They can be used to enhance any and all actions that follow.

Examples:

I know that this is for the highest good of all concerned.

I deepen my awareness of the consciousness from which actions spring.

I live my mission.

My intention is to live free from struggle, fear, and hopelessness.

I remember.

Acting/Claiming Affirmations

The purpose of Acting and/or Claiming Affirmations is to bring something into manifestation or to direct the energy of your intention to appropriate manifestation. These affirmations bring into the physical experience those ideas that you hold in your mind and/or heart. In addition, these affirmations help you to claim your power and establish boundaries in relationships.

Examples:

I act with high intention and purposeful awareness.

I step into the world to live my mission in every word and action.

I demand my good right now.

I make every act an act of love (or freedom or mastery or hope, etc.).

I am powerful. I am worthy. I am loveable. I am free.

Integrating/Embodying Affirmations

The purpose of Integrating and/or Embodying Affirmations is to allow the energy and meaning of the affirmations to merge with your consciousness. Affirmations and ideas that do not resonate, drop away. Integrating/Embodying Affirmations support us in knowing more deeply — integrating — what we have learned rather than introducing new information.

Examples:

I integrate trust into every aspect of my life.

I breathe love into my job, my body, my relationships.

Yes to Life!

Today is an opportunity for peace.

I breathe in abundance, letting my whole body feel its energy.

Affirmations as Lifestyle

As you work more and more with intentional affirmations — written, spoken, read, chanted, meditated upon — you will make them part of your lifestyle. Affirmations are already working for (or against!) you. It is your job to select the ones you want to live by. Remember, you are already using affirmations every time you think or speak! If your current affirmations are disempowering, you can intentionally change them to ones that you choose to live by.

Using affirmations is the most effective way to create positive change in your life, but as always, there is a right and a wrong approach: This 10 point hit-list will make sure you get them dead-on!

But before we hit the list let’s remind ourselves exactly why we need Affirmations.

Using them on a daily basis reminds us of our plans, targets and ambitions and what and where we want to be in life – Affirmations deal with the Law of Attraction, the beautiful Law of the Universe, which states like attracts like – We are actually affirming what we want which is highly effective and proven!

The Correct Ways to Use Affirmations

Take Time to Think: Write down ALL that you don’t want, this makes it far easier to list what you do want.

Passion and Positivity: Let emotions RUN WILD and think how great that ‘B-L-A-N-K’ would feel in your life (you fill in the blank)

Aim for the Sky: Think of your most wanted desires and goals that really rock your boat.

Be Positive: Always say what you do want; never what you don’t want.

Use the Present Tense: Say your affirmations as though your desired target is already yours to have and enjoy.

Be Precise, Clear and Brief: No waffle or fluff, make your affirmations hit the target.

Daily Affirmations; Say your affirmations daily without fail. Make it a daily habit as you would brushing your teeth, and set a specific time – Even better if you say your affirmations morning, lunch time and evening.

Write Affirmations Down: A very powerful and little known concept. Write them out and place them somewhere you can see them easily.

Create your Perfect Pre-Affirmations Mood: You need to feel great, happy and confident before you say your affirmations so do whatever it takes to get you feeling really good: The BETTER your mood the QUICKER the results.

Call to Action: Do something to help your Affirmations become reality; even little steps are better than nothing at all. An example would be if you are affirming that you have the longest, shiniest most beautiful hair in the street go out and buy the best hair brush you can find.

A Vital Way to Make those Affirmations Sing!

When you finalize your list of Affirmations try to start them off with the phrase ‘I am’. See why this is very important;

It Affirms you have already achieved your goal, not got it planned for the future

It is a positive and bold statement and shows self-confidence, belief and intent

It leads onto positive action

Good Example: I am a money magnet (5 words, positive declaration, clear intent)

Bad Examples: ‘I hope to be’, ‘I deserve’, ‘ I intend to’, ‘I want to be’ (Putting your faith into hope rather than positive intent/ putting your want into the future and by doing that it will always stay in the future)

Vision Board Affirmations – The Trick the Masters of ‘The Secret’ Really Like

There are many ways that people can use to get their Affirmations working if they seem stuck. You see, it’s all very well writing down a list of Affirmations and intending to say them daily and planning to put new exciting plans into action but some people simply get stuck.

Maybe they have tight time schedules, maybe they want to but something always comes up, maybe they have great intention but never get round to it or maybe they just run out of caring if the affirmations don’t seem to work.

Using a vision board helps like crazy to overcome all these problems; in fact, some of today’s greatest Lifestyle coaches and mentors actually encourage people to use vision boards for affirmations and manifesting change.

Such brilliant minds as Bob Proctor and Dr Joe Vitale; both known for their valuable input in ‘The Secret’ by Rhonda Byrne, the bestselling book on the Law of Attraction, positively recommend vision boards to help create, use and empower Affirmations.

Affirmations – the Law of Attraction and Vision Boards

Affirmations are the tools of the Law of Attraction, to attract all that you desire into your life no matter what that dream or goal maybe; but sometimes it’s harder than most people realise to get your mind into the right place, to feel the want and desire, and action the thought.

So if a vision board simplifies and eases all that then why not? If you use Affirmations to bring about desires and goals to your life and a vision board will definitely help, then use one.

After all who would argue with such visionaries as Bob Proctor and Dr Joe Vitale? They are leaders in the Law of Attraction movement – They know all about Affirmations, Manifesting and Creating Destiny.

It’s as clear as this – Affirmations bring much wanted change, empower manifestation, make desired wants possible, but sometimes they need a little push… and a vision board is that simple tool to use.

Discover how powerful a vision board will make your affirmations become and shortcut your route to success. Its yours free in my report.

Affirmations form the basis of our perceptions. They are defined as the things we state to be true. But notice how there’s nothing in this definition which claims that an affirmation must, in reality, be true.

Affirmations are merely declarations of truth, but these declarations can be any degree of true or false. Nothing shows up in your life experience which you have not invited into it by affirming it. And you affirm any statement, whether based on an essential truth or an essential lie, into your life experience which you accept as true and real regardless of whether or not it is actually true and real. Acceptance is a prerequisite to demonstration. What you accept you manifest. The legitimacy of the affirmative statement itself is irrelevant; and (while we are on the subject of irrelevance) so are the words. I know this may sound counterintuitive but just as affirmations have nothing whatsoever to do with Reality, affirmations are not really about words. Words are merely symbolic of something deeper. It’s the feeling evoked by the words used in an affirmation which reveal what’s really being asserted.

A statement may on its face seem positive, even though it may actually be interpreted negatively by the one stating it. For example, I am beautiful seems like a positive enough statement. But what if in stating I am beautiful you believe your beauty to be based solely on your looks and so you become obsessed with keeping up physical appearances. I am beautiful can be interpreted in any number of ways, just as any statement can. That’s why it’s not the words of an affirmation that matter, but the way the words are understood by the person stating them. The real story of an affirmation is revealed through your emotions. For an affirmation to be constructive, the emotions inspired by the affirmation must be positive. And even more than that (as previously stated) in order for an affirmation to actually be demonstrated in your physical experience, you have to accept whatever idea you are affirming in your thoughts to be absolutely credible and true; because any idea which you deem to be incredible at the point of contemplation has no chance of developing beyond a mere mental musing. You can go around making all the declarations you want, this is not what brings thoughts into fruition. It is your belief in your thoughts which create your reality. This is the basic lesson of the law of attraction. “All things whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” – Matthew 21:22. Only what you accept as true (whether it is really true or not) can become a part of your actual experience.

Acceptance (as it is used here) means to let be; to receive just as it is offered; to not merely be tolerant of whatever is before you, but to be completely objective and impartial about it. Acceptance means to receive without conditions. Until you can truly say about something or someone, “no matter what, I receive you just as you are,” then you are not truly accepting of whatever or whomever that something or someone is. The problem many of us have is that we too often choose to receive (just as it is) affirmations which are empty and unsatisfying to us. We are too often accepting of perceptions which make us feel bad, and are way too quick to be dismissive of perceptions which make us feel good. We deem the good feeling perceptions to be incredible and the bad feeling perceptions to be the way reality is. And because we have accepted that which we do not want and doubted that which we do, what we affirm into our life experience is that which we do not want even as we deny that which we do want from occurring. Is it really any wonder then why we so often feel frustrated and dissatisfied with life?

You must be diligent about only affirming those perceptions which will bring about the most joy in your life experience. How do you know which affirmations will accomplish this best? Don’t focus so much on the words you are reciting in an affirmation, but the feeling you get when you recite them. Always remember, it is your emotions which reveal the real story of an affirmation. If you are entertaining a perception which feels good to you in imagination, this is a perception which will feel good to you in actual practice (just as the contrary is also true). And the only thing you need to do to actually demonstrate that perception is to give yourself over to it. Accept it. That’s it! It doesn’t matter how often you repeat an affirmation, repetition will not lead to fruition. Only acceptance can do this. You could declare a thing one time, and as long as you then accept the declaration you just made it will instantly be demonstrated. The only power inherent in repeating an affirmation is the power of persuasion. The only reason an affirmation ever needs to be repeated is because you are still trying to convince yourself to let go of the doubt which is hindering your ability to demonstrate it.

The real scarcely recognized secret? We are different expressions of the same identity. And there is unlimited greatness within each and every one of the infinite expressions of The One. The deliberate use of affirmations is merely one tool we may use in order to realize this Truth. The point of it all is to get you to first imagine and then accept something greater, something more wonderful than what you have up to this moment allowed of yourself until finally you are able to appreciate the boundless magnificence of All.

You must not be afraid to feel joy – know that you are deserving of it. You must not be suspicious of what, at the point of contemplation, feels good (or rather too good to be true). Know that the very basis of Reality is All good. So go ahead… Affirm your way to this realization.
