Words of affirmation are so prevalent, important, and powerful but yet subtle, so subtle that we don’t even notice it being the underlining governor in our minds and in our life’s experiences. Words of affirmation have conditioned us in ways that most people have not even considered in their adult years.

For instance, we have been conditioned from school, through things like mathematics, to create problems for ourselves over and over again. Through all of the different equations we had to find to solve all of the many problem-solving questions that math teachers gave their students, and still are giving them today… we have been conditioned to create problems for ourselves. This can be turned into good if it forces us to find solutions to where our attention and focus are more steered toward solutions but unfortunately with the mental overwhelming of mind activity, and lack of concentration, we focus more on the problems and create more problems for ourselves.

But on a subconscious level we have seen the words “Problem Solving” so much in our youth that we have hardwired our brains to search out and notice problems just to solve them for the chemical rush of being right, which can put us in a state to refining our skills in that area. But most schools, at the same time of flooding students with problems to solve, have numerous intellectual commitments, assignments, test, exams, essay papers and many other things that keep the mind at a constant turbulent multi tasking state.

This unfortunately makes it harder for kids to realize and expand their talents and concentration skills and interest because they are mentally tired from all of the requirements of problem solving. Whenever things seem to be going right, the minds is conditioned to seek out a problem that is hidden and the world respond and bring us situations to deal with that we interpret as problems to solve.

Not a lot of attention was put into concentration, contemplation, mental rehearsal and imagination. More of the attention was on problem solving and measuring apartness and separation and calculating reactions and implementing solutions. This can be effective if used rightly but we fail to ascend from the problematic limited way of thinking to the expressions of creativity, abundance and infinite possibilities ways of thinking.

This same mentality has creeped into the minds of most adults and the word job is the new school for problem solving mechanisms using some form of “work”. We have forgotten unconditional love and hardwired our families to be computers to survive in this tough financial problem solving society.

The love has been striped out of families for survival because on an unconscious level we have prepared and organized our brains to seek out problems to solve without us even knowing it which cripples the idea of enhancing and refining our skill to strategies and master challenges in a subconscious and automatic implicit way for a desired outcome using concentration and pure powerful thinking.

We seem to have been stuck in a problem-seeking mode and when we get overwhelmed we go on vacation with the family to catch up on expressing love and life. Our spirit guide knows that it needs love to continue life’s full expression rather our minds allow it or not. This is what creates the imbalance in our wholeness because our intent in mind is different than our intent in heart.

We have been programmed to survive and as parents we sometimes see our kids as motivation to survive which works for a while but you naturally need to Love, Love and Love first. Seek the way of the creator first and your needs will be meet. But we have been delivered from youth, certain problematic words of affirmation in our DNA unconsciously, that has implicitly become our automatic behaviors and ways of thinking.

Love and life has become secondary to surviving. What a tiresome way of living life. Oh lets survive by getting a job, paying bills and keeping a roof over our heads, food on the table and clothes on our backs and then when we have time we will pay attention to one another.

I am explaining the high maintenance family who is conditioned to work, work and work to live and find time to play in between some how. They are prime examples of the conditioning of creating problems over and over again to have to deal with when our minds cannot consciously manage all of the problems we have created with the constant exposure to problematic words of affirmation.

The people who master these problem-solving techniques become our leaders in government, education, media and mainstream. They set the tone and reinforce a system that creates a world of chaos and limitations because all the problems are based on limitation, apartness, labels and division and we have identified our selves and who we think we are with our ability to solve problems.

This is why the entrepreneur world is so big because there are so many problems and an entrepreneur is no more than some one who solves problems and address needs for people for a profit. Helping the needy has become life’s purpose because the parasite exists in the minds of the poverties but Christ consciousness is the keys to full fill this gap. There are many needs in this world because the adversary, through mind, has kept the knowledge away from us of how to create abundance instead of limitations.

From the jump early school systems painted the picture of education that they wanted us to see so that we will live a life of trading time in for ends meet. They know time is limited, which is a problem for us, if that is what you have to rely on to survive. They have mentally equipped us to be in a rat race of specific problems that we had no part in creating. We are at the bottom of the employee food chain acting out as parts of the equation that the successful problem solver has put in place and created a business out of.

This may seem all to coincidental or distant for a lot of people but I assure you if you look deeper you will see that the underlining words of affirmation that has been hardwired in our intellect corresponds equally to

what we believe and what we manifest in our present reality.

The very few wealthy people in the world have surpassed this limited way of thinking and they see that there are no limitation problems in the now. They see what most people label as problems as challenges that they have learned to graciously overcome. They have implanted into their memory program a new set of words of affirmation. Affirmations are so effective in our lives rather we are affirming abundance or limitation. Whatever you organize your brain to tell you is what it will produce.

Most people do not realize that words of affirmation works on an unconscious level in a very big way. Our unconscious thoughts produce measurable changes in our physiology but most people are not aware of the unconscious thinking in their heads. If you are worrying about some future moment in the back of your head and you can’t consciously remember exactly what it is your worrying about at that moment, you are affirming some form of words that have been planted in your subconscious.

We have been conditioned by time to treat the present moment as a problem or an obstacle that needs to be over come. Some how we have gotten stuck in the “oh no its another problem” mode. The idea of no problems but only challenges and solutions starts to make your brain works differently but that different feeling is the unknown. The familiar is so seductive because we can relate to what a problem feels like.

PEACE AFFIRMATIONS

We have not hardwired our brain to experience a reflection of paradise with ultimate peace and only love because of the parasite in our mind that keeps the past alive. Every time we think there is no problems, the body and mind conditioned past finds a problem. Christ tried to present us another way of living when he implied to his followers that they should live like nature. He said look at the lilies and the birds. See how they grow with no stress or toil. You can live like that too.

The only way we can live like that is through the thoughts we choose to focus on in this moment. In order to live like the lily your thoughts has to be natural and clear like the growth of the lily. We must allow life to be freely with an attitude of peace and wholeness no matter what the present circumstance. This action creates a reaction of peace in the future.

The karma for a natural flower is natural beauty because it’s action and reaction is natural with no distress and rooted in love. It takes in just enough solar energy and water and the roots grow and create beauty on the outside through the creators love. The only thing that gets in the way of us living our lives so peacefully like the Lilly and the bird is fear in the human mind. We have lost control of it do to the conditioning of problem solving words of affirmation.

We have to gain control of our subconscious memory system and alter our attention to abundant words of affirmation. We have been condition by school for most of our early years so more than likely you have to unlearn some things you’ve been taught. Whatever words of affirmation you have plant in your mental garden, will be the same words that grows in your physical world as manifestation of things and reality and now is the time to pluck up roots and plant new seeds.

Then the new seeds of abundance have to become deeply rooted and implicit so that it can be automatic. Peace and love becomes second nature and all other needs are added as a result of producing compassion now.

Words of Affirmations effect life in many different areas

· Affirmations for healing

· Affirmations for abundance

· Affirmations for wealth

· Self Confidence Affirmations

· Positive Thinking Affirmations

· Affirmations of Happiness

· Affirmations for Money

· Affirmations for Relationships

· Audio Affirmation

Pluck up the negative words of affirmations that creeped in unconsciously through

· Affirmations of Problems

· Affirmations of Limitation

· Affirmations of Disease

· Affirmations of Anger

· Affirmations of Fighting

· Affirmations of Surviving

· Affirmations of Fear

· Affirmations of Victim

These words of affirmations come in through many ways- from what we read, what we see on televisions and the news, what we learned in school, what we experience at work, what we hear on radio, what we perceive from others, what we see in hospitals, what we experience through drama and chaotic episodes, what we hear in church and what we learn from surviving life situations.

Our conscious mind is like a compass and it guides our subconscious by the words of affirmations we hold in our mind and make more real than anything else. Words are thoughts externalized and as a man think in his heart, so is he. This explains why we become what we have affirmed implicitly. Our spirit guide has to plant new affirmations but first it must make unconscious negative affirmations conscious so that we can recognize it and be in a position to choose a different way of affirming our experiences continuously.

We are constantly affirming reality through the words of affirmations we have stored in our storehouse of affirmations. If we have affirmed going to school, getting good grades and graduating and going to college then working for 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week for 40 years and retire, then rest assure you will get exactly that.

Bill Gates wired into his brain a different set of affirmations than the large crowd. He stepped out of the norm and created Microsoft words of affirmation and this stepping out of the norm yielded him a life that stands apart from the normal affirmations of lack. The few people who followed him took on a new mental organization in which they believed enough in his affirmation of abundance in computer programs.

What words have you affirmed in your mind? Have you affirmed problems or have you affirmed abundance? Have you focused more attentions on bills and confrontations or have you focused more on wealth and peace? Where is your point of awareness?

How are you implicitly affirmed to react to challenges in your life situations? Have you mentally prepared yourself to respond to money as of though it is abundant or have you prepared your response to be one of lack and not enough? If you look closely at how you feel and the certain way you act towards money you will see that your world and experiences about money comes to you in an exact proportion of your corresponding inner state.

We can only perceive what our brain is organized to tell us. Perhaps the reason why we have not perceive the life of a millionaire is because we have not organized our brains to attain millionaire status. A millionaire thought is a millionaire seed.

If we focus on the thoughts we have during the day, we will be surprised to find out that 90% of them are negative. Every thought we have, any judgment we pass or any word we say is affirmation. Affirmations are directly linked to our subconsciousness. Affirmations are a ‘reprogramming software’ which implants any thought, either positive or negative, onto our minds in the form of a pattern when repeated many times. Our subconscious then implements these pattern into our daily lives either leading to a positive or negative change.

There are two types of affirmations: negative and positive. Negative affirmations are the ones where we think negatively and thus leading our mind to belief that these negative thoughts are true. One example of the effects of negative affirmations can be having a sense of failure before doing anything. On the other hand positive affirmation is linked to positive thinking such as having a feeling ‘I am sure I can do this project’.

Adopt a positive affirmation for a happier and healthier life. The first step is to get rid of negative thoughts, inner-belief and behaviors which lead to unhappiness or depression such as ‘I am so fat’ or ‘I cannot do this piece of work’. These thoughts hold you back from having an ideal life. Your mind is led to believe that these negative thoughts are true. Thus, adopting a positive attitude and giving positive affirmations to yourself is nothing but helpful, and can help you in many more ways than you may, at first, imagine.

The second step to adopting positive affirmations is to stay in present and let go of the past. Don’t think of what you lost yesterday but what you can gain today. It is also important to think not to think of the future. For example, instead of thinking to yourself and saying ‘I will be happy’ try saying ‘I am so happy now’. The positive affirmation should always start with ‘I’ so that your mind can feel that these thoughts are only about you.

The final step to utilizing positive affirmations is to remember that positive affirmations should be repeated over a period of time so that our mind completely accept the thought and start acting accordingly. One factor in this step is patience. We need patience in order to bring about a change in our lives. It might take a month or more depending on our will power for positive affirmation to become effective.

Positive affirmations can be used to change any part of our lives. From our mood to our business, positive affirmation is effective anywhere. One example of positive affirmation can be getting over our anger. Try to think positively first thing in the morning or whenever you feel angry such as ‘I am happy today’ or ‘I have a peace mind right now’. Positive affirmations can be used for getting rid of anger, boosting self-esteem or can even help in weight loss. Some examples of positive affirmation are:

“Every day I am getting stronger and stronger.”

“I love my job”

“I am ready and willing to release the past, now”

“My life is a joy filled with love”

You can choose to consciously think these positive affirmations, or you can take it upon yourself to repeat the positive affirmations to yourself out loud. Saying a positive affirmation with feeling leads our mind to a whole new dimension. Any thought with an emotion attached to it is more effective. Visualizing also helps achieving a better result. But remember basis of any type of affirmation is having positive affirmation. So keep a positive attitude to gain a better life.

Affirmation techniques are becoming much talked about as a route to success. However, for the mainstream of the population, affirmation techniques are still little understood. They are crying out for further investigation.

So, first off, who uses affirmation techniques? Well, successful people, basically.

The methods are not new. Affirmation techniques have been used at least for several hundreds of years, but more likely millennia, by individuals seeking success for themselves and the wider populace. Ironically, decent guides on affirmation techniques are not that easy to come by and some are better than others. In spite of all the hype surrounding affirmation actions, many of us still remain in the dark about the methods employed.

Moreover, it seems that the results of affirmation techniques are still disputed hotly. Some claim they can be empirically proven to work, others say they are complete bunkum. So, who is right? Is there room for dispute?

I, personally, have long been an advocate of affirmation techniques guides because they worked so well for me. I introduced the methods into my everyday life and conversations. I found that my life improved in terms of relationships, personal financial gain and advantages for other people in my personal and business life. So how could I ignore these ideas? I looked into the whole gamut of affirmation techniques in much more detail.

I went from farm hand to president and owner of a very successful private investigations business. And I can truly put it all down to following the right affirmation techniques.

Affirmation techniques have effected enormous changes in many people’s lives which can’t be ignored. That said, a huge swathe of individuals who have used affirmation have found no positive benefit. We should be allowed to question why not. I know it works for me, so what have these people overlooked, or ineffectually implemented, when it comes to affirmation?

Are some people just getting the basics wrong? Is the information wrong? Are the situations we find ourselves in wrong? Or is there an overall view (paradigm) that encompasses the whole symbiosis of affirmation techniques for anyone who cares to buy into this system?

Continual and unabated testing of the various types of method is crucial. Anything short of tried and tested evaluation is spurious, in the least. For sure, benchmark tests may still be banned from the laboratory. Why, I don’t know, but that is our current day situation. Personally, I can only concentrate on anecdotal evidence.

Before I get there, perhaps we could explore what the aim of affirmation actually consists of. The whole picture of affirmation is an elusive one. Confounded, lambasted and derided by many, its true visage and power is yet to be fully appreciated.

To put it at its basic level, affirmation relates a conscious order directed to the subconscious. In the subconscious mind the veracity of conscious thoughts are accepted. Subconscious thoughts then become something natural and are put into effect without any conscious thoughts. In effect, you control the way you are automatically after the initial input via affirmation techniques.

Why is that important? Well, because to influence other people, you must be entirely natural. Otherwise they will pick up that something is wrong, that your behavior is forced. And that is the basis of affirmation techniques. They are positively conscious techniques which become natural and subconscious. However, anything you relate consciously to the subconscious must be regarded by the subconscious as acceptable and entirely believable. If you try and convince the subconscious that you are an operatic diva when in fact you sing like a crow, it just won’t be accepted.

But, and this is a big but, if you tell, or command, your subconscious that you will be a master tenor lead at the Sydney Opera House, you have every possibility of becoming so. For most of us, tension in the conscious mind is a barrier to becoming what we should be. Let us be honest; it really is the truth. We all sing better when alone, in the shower, or wherever. Put us in front of a crowd of spectators and we become tongue-tied and out of tune. But we know we can do it really.

So that’s what affirmation techniques are all about. They are simply a way of convincing ourselves that we are capable of what we could actually do in any case, if it weren’t for our self-consciousness. I know I haven’t ventured into any specific techniques, but let me assure you that they have worked for me. I was terribly self-conscious and self deprecating ten years ago, although I knew I had a good brain and personality. I was earning the minimum wage. Now I run a very successful private investigations bureau.

That is about the best I think I can achieve given my abilities. Other people who have followed affirmation techniques are, or have been, presidents, business magnates and some just much better moms and dads. Affirm, don’t decline.

Positive Affirmations, how do they work? What changes can I expect?

Affirmations are one of the tools you can use to radically change your life. There is nothing new age, mystic, trendy or fashionable about them. Affirmation is part of an ancient ‘ Secret’, re-discovered and brought back to the limelight by TV. film and press, transforming with it several people into very wealthy gurus.

Affirmations have been around since man found the use of language and there is no secret ritual to use them.

You can basically have anything you want! This tool, if used correctly, will help you change, grow, and heal yourself.

I want to introduce you to the basics of positive affirmation and positive thinking. Later on you may want to surf the web and find out more about this fascinating subject.

When you start the affirmations, give yourself at least a thirty day tryout period. Depending on the seriousness of the problem you may need more time and more affirmations to achieve your goals. Talk to your family and friends about your resolution to change and ask them for their support. If it is a radical change you are envisioning a life-coach will be very useful suggesting the best approach to use and to keep you motivated. This is a big step. Opening up to relatives and friends show your commitment to change and solidify your intentions.

Don’t get discouraged, impatient or put off if nothing happens in a week or two. Just remember that you didn’t become this way overnight.

Affirmations can and will transform your life patterns and perception.

Affirmations support your positive thinking and together they form a very powerful and effective tool. They function as ‘key words’ of positive messages ‘dictated’ directly to the self. You consciously connect and direct your positive thinking to areas of your life that you want to change or heal. It works as a reminder to the self, keeping positive messages at the forefront of consciousness.

The benefits of affirmations are medically well established and really work.

On the other hand negative thoughts are just as powerful. So be aware of your negative thoughts as they are in essence self-destructive ‘key words:’ psychological mechanisms that make your life rotten.

First,  let’s check how aware you are of your thoughts.

Do you regularly have more positive or more negative thoughts running through you mind?

Only you can honestly answer that. So get ready.

If your subconscious is throwing out lots of negative thoughts then you must do some ‘brain-cleaning’ before moving into the desired new positive affirmation mode.

This may be very familiar to you, as your mind swirls with thoughts like: “I don’t like this, I like that, I feel great,  I hate him/her, I am afraid of, I don’t want them to see me like this, I am not sure about that, I feel rotten”.

Your mind incessantly interprets your experiences as an internal dialogue. These thoughts are generated on a deep level by your beliefs which were formed and accumulated from the time you were born.

We can’t control most exterior events of our lives but we do control how we interpret and react to them.

We create our own reality.

When we change our interpretation a change takes place in our reality.

So become aware of your thoughts. If you change your thinking, big changes will happen in your life.

Take a minute to think about why you are reacting to something or someone.

Get in touch with yourself. Accept the fact that these thoughts may have helped you in the past but they are out of place now that you have chosen to accept only positive thoughts and positive living.

While doing the new affirmations your mind will let go of the negative messages even if you are not aware if it.

Watch out also for resistance within yourself. With certain affirmations you may question, “What in the heck” – “are you kidding?”

It is ok, it is an old habit that is about to be changed. You grew up and had these thoughts for almost all of your life. Now it is time to form a new habit and you need lots of practice.

Let’s get started.

What would you like your life to be?

Think about it and write it down.

Fulfillment with your job, a happy family, better health, financial security?

Don’t hold back, go for it.

For the beginners the easiest way is to choose and write down two or three things you want changed.

For example, if you feel unloved and financially strapped, one of your affirmations could be: ” I am now ready to receive more love and wealth” and you may add  ”from the vast supply of the universe”.

If you also wrote down ‘low self-esteem’  the affirmation could be: “I am an awesome man/woman and I feel good about myself”.

Be creative, upfront and fearless. You are making a statement to yourself of your intentions.

Here are a few simple guidelines:

1- Present tense. Start all your affirmations in the present tense and have them already accomplished. You are telling your conscious mind that the affirmative action is taking place NOW and it is final. I AM HAPPY,  I CHOOSE JOY,  I HAVE CONFIDENCE. It is stronger and much more powerful than, I will be happy, or I am becoming happy, and so on.

2- How to phrase your affirmations. You can copy from an extensive list you’ll find on the Internet, use the examples below or simply write it down in your own words. Do it as plainly or as poetically as you speak. ” I am energetic and full of enthusiasm. I am safe, I am a prosperous man/woman. I attract positive people, I release my anger.” Make copies of it and leave it around the house, car and your office desk. The more you are reminded of the positive affirmations the more your mind will accept the new concept you are bringing forth. You will create a new positive reality and the universal energy will do the rest to connect this good energy to other positive energies.

3- Positive means Positive. Your subconscious usually focuses on the verb and relates it to past experiences. If you have fears, phobias or whatever, be careful with your choice of words. If you are afraid and say I am not SCARED, it will register I AM SCARED. The NOT was assimilated and ignored by your mind. Say instead I AM COURAGEOUS or I AM FEARLESS. Don’t use affirmations that have a negative attachment. You can comfortably use I ACCEPT, I CHOOSE, I DESERVE, I AM.  I developed one affirmation to counteract the negative thought that eventually peeks through, so I suggest you add it to the batch,  ”I ACCEPT ONLY THE GOOD AND THE POSITIVE.”

Starting as you wake up, say the affirmations out loud or in your head five times. Repeat the same process three to four more times during the day, the last one just before going to bed.

I suggest you end the affirmation session with a thank you  note. Gratitude will reinforce and validate the affirmations. Thank God, Jesus, a Spirit, the Force, the Universe or whatever you believe and feel comfortable with.

Visualize your affirmations with feelings and emotion. See yourself exactly as you are stating.  It will add an extra psychological dimension and have a much deeper impact on your mind. Using this method of visualization early in the morning and at night will make your affirmations much more successful.

You can use affirmations to help build self-confidence, self-esteem, self-improvement and personal growth. It can also help conquer your fears and anger management. Affirmations have been successfully used to relieve anxiety and depression and are an excellent tool for weight control.

How to Use Power Affirmations

Anxiety Help

What is the most effective way to use Power Affirmations? Here are a few suggestions.

Pick one or two affirmations and begin using them immediately. Do not wait until you create the perfect affirmations for your specific situation before you start using them. The future is now. Procrastination is the killer of success. Immediate action creates momentum. Repetition of positive thought sustains it. Do not base your choice by whether or not you already believe the affirmation or if the belief seems possible to you at this time. Repeating the power affirmations with emotional intensity and a feeling of certainty will eventually install the beliefs in your subconscious mind. At the very least, pick a generic affirmation like Every day in every way I am getting better and better. Then you can always choose or create other power affirmations later after you set specific goals. Resolve right now to start using affirmations within the next 60 minutes.

Write the power affirmation at least 10-20 times per day. For best results, write it down 10-20 times as soon as you arise and 10-20 times before you go to bed. This allows you to set your direction before the day starts and plant the seed in your subconscious mind before you go to sleep. If you do this consistently, you will naturally find this thought re-occurring in your mind several times per day. You will begin to notice the power affirmations shaping your other thoughts through the course of the day. As the power affirmations create more and more similar thoughts, you will create a direction and build momentum towards the desired results.

After you write the affirmation 10-20 times, repeat it aloud in front of a mirror 5-10 times. Anxiety Help is a process so repeating the affirmations aloud further installs the beliefs into your subconscious mind. It is very important to repeatedly both write and audibly state your affirmations for maximum effectiveness.

As you write and audibly repeat them, feel the emotional power of the affirmations in your body. Visualize yourself as having already created this result in your life. Feel the way you would feel if you already had this result in your life. Hear the things you will hear when this affirmation becomes an everyday reality. Breathe the way you would breathe if this affirmation were already true. Move your body as if this were already a conditioned belief.

Now let your positive thoughts of power and certainty guide your actions. Live consciously. Take complete control of your own mind rather than passively allowing the influences in the media control it for you.

Does this type of conditioning take time and effort? Absolute , on a daily basis. There is no something for nothing. This is where most people fail. They do not follow through with these steps every day for a long period of time. They get inspired for a few days after hearing a motivational speaker or after reading a book. Then, after the motivational high wears off, they fall back into their old habits. Or they get so busy that this is an easy item to ignore.

Event training through short seminars, is necessary and great. But Process Training, training that guides your every day habits, is the real key to sustained results. Process Training is achieved through sustained exposure to the learning material over a prolonged period of time. And it requires constant review and correction until the skill is installed as a subconscious habit (like how you learn to drive a car). Most people who think they can get all the information they need by attending a couple of seminars or listening to a best selling program one time will usually be disappointed. The information just goes by too fast to allow it to really soak in.

Why do you think we see the same commercials over and over again? Or hear the same slogan? It is because that advertisers know if they can get our attention for 30 seconds (or less), to watch the same commercial multiple times over a period of days, weeks, months, years, they know they can sell us billions of dollars of merchandise. Is it not time that you used the exact same technique to condition your mind on purpose? Take control of your mind and get anxiety help.

So, listening to motivational speakers on audio tape on a regular basis. Daily is one effective way to add process training to your life, however, many of the thoughts they communicate race by without having a chance to take root in either your conscious or subconscious mind. And there is often a lot of fluff just to get to the main points that will really change your life. It is much more difficult to take advantage of the power of repetition which is crucial to create long term results.

The Power of Power Affirmations

My Power Affirmations work whether I believe in them or not. I create new Power Affirmations for myself everyday. I repeat my Power Affirmations everyday with emotional intensity, certainty, and faith. My Power Affirmations allow me to consistently tap into the unlimited power of my subconscious mind. My Power Affirmations are now creating thought habits that will to guide me to my desired objectives easily and effortlessly. The more I repeat my Power Affirmations with a feeling of certainty, the more accessible these power beliefs are to me when I need them. I know that the repetition of affirmations is the easiest and primary method of voluntarily creating the emotion of faith. So I feed my subconscious mind thoughts of faith by repeating my power affirmations every day with emotion and physical energy. My thoughts are creative. My Power Affirmations are now creating the reality I desire. My Power Affirmations positively influence my subconscious mind while I sleep. My imagination now creates whatever I believe and conceive. You already have most of the knowledge in the self-improvement subject. Still, why are some people more successful than others? You might have been inspired by a book or tape in the past. Why doesn’t that motivation last longer? Even if you already know the things, why weren’t you able to apply them effectively as the time goes by? The answers to these questions are in affirmations.

Key point is you need to be constantly reminded of the positive qualities you already possess. It has been said that the repetition is the mother of skill. Affirmations provide an excellent way to accomplish that.

It’s a well known fact that our beliefs create our reality. If we think we can win, we can. Affirmations are the best way to develop our belief system.

What is Affirmation?

The Official I AM University website defines Affirmation as A positive statement that has been specifically worded for the purpose of reprogramming the subconscious mind with positive and spiritual thoughts. One of the key tools of attitudinal healing and reprogramming our subconscious mind. This is a fundamental tool given that our thoughts create our reality! (iamuniversity.org/glossary/cv_glossarylist.php)

Affirmation is also known as: Pep talk, Autosuggestion, Positive self talk, Self-suggestion, Mental programming, Positive thinking, Self-hypnosis, Psycho-cybernetics, the Alpha method.

Affirmation is the medium for influencing the subconscious mind.

How Do Affirmations Work?

You know the commercials – same advertisements are shown over and over again. They know the importance of repetition. It takes repetition for an idea to sink in our minds. You need to do the same thing with the positive qualities you are aware of, for them to be absorbed and acted upon by your subconscious.

Napoleon Hill says in Think and Grow Rich – “Here is a most significant fact – the subconscious mind takes any orders given it in a spirit of absolute FAITH, and acts upon those orders, although the orders often have to be presented over and over again, through repetition, before they are interpreted by the subconscious mind.”

Statistics show that negative news is broadcast 11 times more than good news. How can we positively influence our thinking in such a negative environment that we live in? Auto-suggestions help you stay positive even during adverse conditions.

The law of correspondence says our outer reality is a reflection of our inner reality. You attract what you are. It’s true with your financial success or any other success.

Pat Riley, Coach, Miami Heat Basketball team, 2006 NBA champions, quoted – “A champion needs a motivation above and beyond winning” – When you find your purpose and commit it to your core through affirmations you can find that kind of motivation.

A coach motivates his team. Words motivate. You use the affirmations to motivate yourself.

Psychologists and scriptures affirm again and again the importance of having faith. One must have faith in self to achieve any amount of success. “… FAITH is a state of mind which may be induced, or created, by affirmation or repeated instructions to the subconscious mind, through the principle of auto-suggestion.” – says Napoleon Hill the author of classic Think and Grow Rich – “… you may CONVINCE the subconscious mind that you believe you will receive that for which you ask, and it will act upon that belief, which your subconscious mind passes back to you in the form of ‘FAITH’, followed by definite plans for procuring that which you desire.

“…. any impulse of thought which is repeatedly passed on to the subconscious mind is, finally, accepted and acted upon by the subconscious mind, which proceeds to translate that impulse into its physical equivalent, by the most practical procedure available.”

Dr. David J. Schwartz, author of Magic Of Thinking Big says – “Build your own ‘sell yourself on yourself’ commercial. Think for a moment about one of America’s most popular products, Coca Cola. Every day your eyes or ears come in contact many times the good news about ‘Coke.’ The people who make Coca Cola are continually reselling you on ‘Coke’ and for a good reason. If they stopped reselling you, chances are you’d grow luke-warm and eventually cold to ‘Coke.’ Then sales would drop.

But the Coca Cola company isn’t going to let this happen. They resell you and resell you and resell you on ‘Coke.’ “

You got to sell yourself on yourself again and again to have faith, belief and confidence and then to succeed.

Mark Fisher and Marc Allen, authors of How to Think Like a Millionaire say – “Both authors of this book have experienced wonderful results by using a simple formula or affirmation developed by a famous French pharmacist, Emile Coue. … which consisted of these words: Every day, in every way, I am getting better and better.

The golden rule of self-suggestion is repetition, so this should be repeated daily – throughout the day – to have the best effect. A relaxed state, where the subconscious is most receptive to new information, is the best – though not essential. It makes the process effective much more quickly, however.”

Affirmation Examples:

Suppose you want to work on increasing your self-esteem. Self-esteem is a self-image at an emotional level; circumventing reason and logic, a key factor in success. You can use the following affirmations to increase your self-esteem: – “I like myself. I am a winner.” – “I am a valuable person.” – “I have abundance of good things in my life and I am thankful.” – “I am enthusiastic, energetic and full of hope and promise.” – “I am tough, bold, strong and confident.” – “Every day, in every way, I am getting better and better”

Similarly, about Goal Setting and taking action: – “I set long, medium and short term goals.” – “My dreams and goals make me look forward to each day.” – “I take an action step toward the attainment of at least one goal everyday.” – “I create an environment that enhances my focus on my dreams and goals.” – “I just write down what I want, prioritize them, and set them as goals with a date.”

Affirmations must be in first person, present tense format to be most effective. There are also secondary affirmations that positively influence our environment favorable for success. They are, such as – famous positive, motivating, empowering quotes, pictures, our own notes and jots that remind us of the inspiring things.

As Deepak Chopra says in Affluence – you do not need to consciously think about the affluent qualities, you just need to listen daily. Similarly, just complete an affirmation session everyday and subconscious will pick it up eventually and do the work.

“The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it.” – Michelangelo

21 Days Make a Habit:

How can we develop good habits? Experts agree that after 21 days of repetition of positive actions you develop them into a habit. So, to start with, just pick only one category, repeat the affirmations and act on it. After 21 days you can move on to other categories.

We are the creatures of habit. 21 days make a habit. You can develop a good habit by working on it consistently for minimum 21 days.

“Do one thing every day that scares you.”–Eleanor Roosevelt

Why do people tend to forget? You need constant reminders. When you use it regularly, this tool can act as a reminder of positive qualities you already possess.

Music:

Studies have shown that slow (60 beats per minute) music brings the heart rate down to relaxing levels, calms the mind, and increases memory, learning abilities and effectiveness.

You must have experienced a good feeling while listening to an uplifting or melodious music. Listening to slow rhythmic music during affirmation may increase the effectiveness of affirmations though not necessary.

“It occurred to me by intuition, and music was the driving force behind that intuition. My discovery was the result of musical perception.” – Albert Einstein upon being asked about his theory of relativity.

“Music cleanses the understanding; inspires it, and lifts it into a realm which it would not reach if it were left to itself.” – Henry Ward Beecher.

Anything is accomplished taking one step at a time and that starts with the first step. As Karen Lamb quoted – “A year from now you may wish you had started today.” So, start using the Affirmations today.

When you first start intentionally creating your own affirmations they may seem a bit awkward and weird. In fact, you may put some undue stress on yourself thinking it has to be profound and perfect. Thankfully for most of us, affirmations do not need to be profound or perfect. They need to be a genuine message from you to you. Affirmations do not need to be shared with everybody (although it is okay if you wish to share your affirmations with somebody through conversation). Here are some tips to help you create an affirmation that will work for you.

Make your affirmation personal. An affirmation has to be something you are telling yourself that will be of benefit to you. Do not make an affirmation to deliver something to somebody else. In essence, affirmations are a gift to you that only you can give.

Be realistic with an affirmation. You can be realistic and still have goals with an affirmation. If you are a thirty year old accountant do not make an affirmation that you are going to be an astronaut on a space flight in two years. Affirmations are statements that can come true and not fantasies.

Keep your affirmation down to a few words. The reason that it is important to keep affirmations short and direct are that they need to be memorized so you can say them or think them anywhere at any time. If you need to pull out a sheet of paper to read it then you know the aspiration is too long.

Start out with an affirmation that you will get fast results from. Affirmation building is like confidence building. If you see a positive result fairly quickly you will like that, remember how it feels, and want more of it. Start out with simple things that may change a bad attitude around or something like that.

Make sure you are affirming something you do want. Setting up an affirmation for something that you kind of want to happen is like buying a puppy because you kind of thought it might be good. The result could be you ending up with something you only thought you wanted. Affirmations should always enhance your life and not create a new problem to solve.

Research affirmations to understand the look and tone of them. There is an extensive selection of books and online data that show samples of affirmations. Make sure you look at them. There is a possibility that there may even be one out there that you could use as a starting point if you are really stuck. We have a free ebook for you and a list of 101 Affirmations to get you started. Just sign up on the right side and these two ebooks are yours, as a Gift.

Commit to your affirmation goals.Do not think that you will automatically practice affirmations. Set reminders up for you to see throughout the day And place a ReflectAffirm Card on your Dashbord. It will automatically remind you of your goals. Consciously as well as subconsciously. That is how easy it is to get started with affirmations in your life.

Be excited about affirmations. You should look at the opportunity to start incorporating affirmations into your daily life as one of the best gifts you have ever given yourself. There is no negative thought or concern you should be feeling about your affirmation goals. They are designed to improve your outlook, attitude, and life.

Every person can create their own affirmations. Every person has been doing it unknowingly for their entire life. When you take on the task knowingly you can create excellent affirmations for yourself. The tips to follow are simple: make the affirmation personal, be realistic, keep the statement short, start out with affirmations that can come true quickly, create affirmations only for things that you really want, research affirmations to get a clear understanding of how they look, and commit to your affirmation goals.

And last, but definitely not least, be excited about your affirmations. They are going to really provide you with an intangible benefit by positively changing your thought patterns and outlook on your life. Suddenly that affirmation has benefited you and people that you are around every day. They will notice your new positive attitude and outlook.

Just get started and you will see results.
