Positive Daily Affirmations are so vital to the sustainment of a positive mental attitude. Wise men know that their attitude is the compass that guides them because they understand emotional intelligence. Our emotions come from the thoughts that we have stored in our subconscious memory programs.

If this is so then positive daily affirmations would slowly but surely transform the spiritual heart into that which it is affirming on a daily basis. Like I said in words of affirmation, through teachings in school we have been conditioned to create problems for ourselves. This can be reversed if we fill our minds with abundant affirmations, peace affirmations, health affirmations and wealth affirmations.

The mind is like a garden and whatever you plant in it will grow. It is important that you plant seeds in a orderly fashion because you don’t want your plants to grow disorderly. Renew your minds daily with positive daily affirmations until it becomes implicit to think wealthy thoughts. Make it an implicit positive daily affirmation of peace and love. Just harmonize the word love in the back of your mind at feel how your body responds to the word love resonating in your spirit.

This is the power of affirmations on a highly emotional level. Whatever you believe to be is to be with all your heart mind and soul. The problem is people are a sleep at the wheel in their vehicle. We let our minds gain control over our consciousness and we fail to affirm daily positive affirmations. Take the time to look yourself in the mirror and speak into your existence.

Positive daily affirmations can change paradigms and belief systems. It can challenge any doubt or inferior thoughts with truth and conquer it with love and grace. Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. Renew your mind daily by positively affirming your presence in consciousness. You can write into your dna whatever internal dialogue you paint on your insides. You actually are daily affirming something rather good or bad rather you know it or not everyday.

If you wake up and affirm your miserable job you are hardwiring your brain to experience more of the same miserable job everyday day in day out. If you have bills due and its the first thing on your mind when you wake and the last when you fall asleep you are affirming debt. If you think people are taking advantage of you everyday you are affirming the victim mentality. Like Henry ford said, “Rather you think you can or you think you can’t, your right.” Whatever you affirm is hardwired in your brain and the pattern can fire automatically. It has become an automatic function to respond however you have trained yourself to respond subconsciously.

Positive daily affirmations should be held in the mind at some degree almost consistently. You have to train your body and your mind by positive daily affirmations to be aligned with right action. If you want increase in your life you cannot affirm thoughts of lack, want and decrease. You have to move forward in your mind. You can only perceive what your brain is organized to tell you. Organize your brain with positive daily affirmations until it becomes a part of you. This is a world of abundance and the universe is expanding. More gold can be minded out of the ground. More creations can be created. More ideas can be born. More life can be expressed when we have affirmed more love.

You go from thinking like a millionaire on a regular basis to doing the things millionaires do to being a millionaire and it is done with the power of the winning millionaire mind.

Millionaire affirmations are energy fields, that permeates and penetrates the cells of your body and attract money, money, and more money the more you affirm millionaire thinking. http://www.millionaireaffirmations.com/

If you have already read any materials related to Law of Attraction, you will understand that one of the main purposes for using affirmations is to strengthen our belief system so that we can harness the power of subconscious mind to attract and manifest what we want in our life.

You may start thinking, yes I did start to affirm what I want, but it just doesn’t seem to happen as things just don’t go according to plan and seem worse than before.

In this article, we will explore 5 main reasons why your affirmation doesn’t work:

1. Verbal instead of mind reading – During the time when we are working with an affirmation, we may be just using our mind to read from the material, such as an affirmation book or affirmation card. If that’s the case, our mind will just simply read and observe it, so it doesn’t have enough energy to hold the intention and it will not be able to create a solid belief and programming. The best way is to affirm it out loud verbally. Sound is form of vibration and when we use our voice, it creates a higher frequency, thus it helps to strengthen the belief, so your subconscious mind thinks you are quite serious and mean what you are saying.

2. Don’t be greedy – sometimes we just want everything in one go, especially when it comes to affirmations. Our ego may think, ‘the more affirmations we read, the better it will go!’ But do you know, when we are reading a list of affirmations, we tend to lose focus of which affirmation we are actually focusing on? Because of this, the mind is not able to register the affirmation since it has already become confused. To counteract this, why not just pick 1 affirmation and focus on it with all your energy and enthusiasm? I would suggest that affirmations are done at least twice a day for 5 to 10 minutes every time.

3. Lack of perseverance – affirmations mean we keep on affirming what we want so that it becomes a part of the positive belief in our mind. But, most of the time we tend to lose focus and become distracted by external factors such as work challenges or relationship issues, so it is very important to set your own time and focus on the affirmation everyday without letting external challenges beat you. From the scientific and metaphysic point of view, if we keep on doing the same affirmation for 21 days, it will form a positive habit and programme within our subconscious mind, so why not set yourself a goal, do it for 21 days and also show your faith to God?

4. Lack of Feeling and Emotion – How we are feeling when we are doing our affirmation work directly affects their efficiency. If you are affirming but feeling a fear of lack or you are doing affirmations for the sake of affirming then your affirmations are not likely to work the way you want them too. Our feelings and emotions serve as the “lubricant” for affirmations so if we charge up the affirmation with positive feelings of love, joy and enthusiasm, your manifestation power will be significantly magnified. It is the same process in reverse if you affirm with emptiness or coldness, the feeling will eventually block the manifestation process and your affirmations will not work.

5. Too focused on Positive beliefs – Our subconscious mind is full of a mixture of positive and limiting beliefs that may cause inner conflict. For example, we belief we want abundance, yet we also believe we don’t deserve it. This issue is known as having dual-beliefs. So these two beliefs actually counteract the other, with the end result of nothing being achieved. When we want to cultivate positive beliefs we have to be willing to be honest with ourselves to see if we have any negative and limiting beliefs that may block the “new” positive belief that we are trying to cultivate from being manifested? To do this, create a list of negative beliefs that you may have and clear them from your subconscious mind through affirmation work. By doing this, your new and positive affirmations are able to function easily and effectively.

Affirmation techniques are becoming much talked about as a route to success. However, for the mainstream of the population, affirmation techniques are still little understood. They are crying out for further investigation.

So, first off, who uses affirmation techniques? Well, successful people, basically.

The methods are not new. Affirmation techniques have been used at least for several hundreds of years, but more likely millennia, by individuals seeking success for themselves and the wider populace. Ironically, decent guides on affirmation techniques are not that easy to come by and some are better than others. In spite of all the hype surrounding affirmation actions, many of us still remain in the dark about the methods employed.

Moreover, it seems that the results of affirmation techniques are still disputed hotly. Some claim they can be empirically proven to work, others say they are complete bunkum. So, who is right? Is there room for dispute?

I, personally, have long been an advocate of affirmation techniques guides because they worked so well for me. I introduced the methods into my everyday life and conversations. I found that my life improved in terms of relationships, personal financial gain and advantages for other people in my personal and business life. So how could I ignore these ideas? I looked into the whole gamut of affirmation techniques in much more detail.

I went from farm hand to president and owner of a very successful private investigations business. And I can truly put it all down to following the right affirmation techniques.

Affirmation techniques have effected enormous changes in many people’s lives which can’t be ignored. That said, a huge swathe of individuals who have used affirmation have found no positive benefit. We should be allowed to question why not. I know it works for me, so what have these people overlooked, or ineffectually implemented, when it comes to affirmation?

Are some people just getting the basics wrong? Is the information wrong? Are the situations we find ourselves in wrong? Or is there an overall view (paradigm) that encompasses the whole symbiosis of affirmation techniques for anyone who cares to buy into this system?

Continual and unabated testing of the various types of method is crucial. Anything short of tried and tested evaluation is spurious, in the least. For sure, benchmark tests may still be banned from the laboratory. Why, I don’t know, but that is our current day situation. Personally, I can only concentrate on anecdotal evidence.

Before I get there, perhaps we could explore what the aim of affirmation actually consists of. The whole picture of affirmation is an elusive one. Confounded, lambasted and derided by many, its true visage and power is yet to be fully appreciated.

To put it at its basic level, affirmation relates a conscious order directed to the subconscious. In the subconscious mind the veracity of conscious thoughts are accepted. Subconscious thoughts then become something natural and are put into effect without any conscious thoughts. In effect, you control the way you are automatically after the initial input via affirmation techniques.

Why is that important? Well, because to influence other people, you must be entirely natural. Otherwise they will pick up that something is wrong, that your behavior is forced. And that is the basis of affirmation techniques. They are positively conscious techniques which become natural and subconscious. However, anything you relate consciously to the subconscious must be regarded by the subconscious as acceptable and entirely believable. If you try and convince the subconscious that you are an operatic diva when in fact you sing like a crow, it just won’t be accepted.

But, and this is a big but, if you tell, or command, your subconscious that you will be a master tenor lead at the Sydney Opera House, you have every possibility of becoming so. For most of us, tension in the conscious mind is a barrier to becoming what we should be. Let us be honest; it really is the truth. We all sing better when alone, in the shower, or wherever. Put us in front of a crowd of spectators and we become tongue-tied and out of tune. But we know we can do it really.

So that’s what affirmation techniques are all about. They are simply a way of convincing ourselves that we are capable of what we could actually do in any case, if it weren’t for our self-consciousness. I know I haven’t ventured into any specific techniques, but let me assure you that they have worked for me. I was terribly self-conscious and self deprecating ten years ago, although I knew I had a good brain and personality. I was earning the minimum wage. Now I run a very successful private investigations bureau.

That is about the best I think I can achieve given my abilities. Other people who have followed affirmation techniques are, or have been, presidents, business magnates and some just much better moms and dads. Affirm, don’t decline.

Timothy Payn has helpful affirmation advice via his blog: http://alternativehealthguideadvice.blogspot.com/2008/03/affirmation-techniques-revealed.html

Affirmation is a very powerful tool that can be used to change the mindset of a person. It can transform negative and destructive thoughts to positive and beneficial ones. But in order to affect the subconscious, affirmations should follow this guideline.

Present form

The first thing to remember is that the positive affirmation must be in the present form. As long as man desires a particular action and achieve a particular goal, then there will always be a need to influence the subconscious mind. And if you want to make your affirmation effective, there is no better time to start than “now”.

Belief that the desire is already a reality

Another tip to developing good affirmation is a belief that what you aim for and what you wish to do is something that has already been accomplished. Experts believe that people saying “I am becoming happy” is more effective as this conveys the message that you are already seeing the positive results of your affirmations.

Positive

The affirmation must be positive and veers away from any negative note. Creating an affirmation with the words “I am safe” is believed to be more effective than saying the words “I am not scared”. The presence of the negative word “not” may affect your attitude and behavior negatively. Thus, experts suggest that there is no better way to use a positive affirmation by staying positive all the time. It is also believed that the word “scared” may grab your attention more and make you think about the negative thought of not being safe often

Everyday language

It is best to come up with an affirmation that fits your language style. It means that you must draft one that uses common words or terms characteristic of the language that you normally use. One important element of positive affirmation is repetition. One cannot repeat a statement which is not common or easy to utter. Instead of including difficult words, it is best for you to keep your affirmation simple and brief so that it is easily absorbed by the subconscious. Difficult words may be pleasant and attractive to hear but the very purpose of a good affirmation is not to impress anyone but rather to help you easily utter it, remember it, and practice it everyday. An action is expected to be the end-point of an affirmation. A simple understanding and verbalization of the affirmation would lead to the desired action.

Avoid using too many words

The affirmation must consist of simple words and it must be phrased simply. A complicated phrasing would make it difficult for you to utter the affirmation repetitively. The principle of affirmation lies on the basic tenet that the subconscious mind must be exposed to the repeated affirmation so that this portion of the mind will be a venue from which the desire will come from.

Your affirmation must be specific and shows the exact action or reaction you are aiming to achieve. It may convey a particular feeling that you want to feel like a longing to feel happy, or to feel energetic, active, or feel in love. It may also be in the form of a specific action like your desire to pass an examination, find the right person, or it can even be as simple as reaching a certain destination safely.

Affirmations get a bad rap by many in the areas of personal growth and development, and at the same time by others are touted as the magic to changing your life. There are those who tell you that using affirmations is THE way to changing your thinking thus changing your life, and others who say they are a useless waste of time.

Here I will attempt to clarify and set straight the place and value of affirmations in your self improvement efforts to change and grow in your life. The topic of affirmations fits into what I call “A fine line.” There is a fine line between going too far one way or the other. To get the value from something you must find the “fine line” place in the middle, too far one way or the other, and you loose it. And so it is with affirmations.

First, some of the misconception comes from people grasping for the quick fix. We all know how we can easily read into something what we want. And that what most people are looking for is the quickest, easiest way to make changes in their life, which does really not exist.

All related factors must be addressed to realize real results. Affirmations do play a role in your overall self development and growth but are certainly not the only tool that must be used to get the results you want. Affirmations alone will not bring about the major change in life some believe, on the other hand they are not totally worthless as many others make them out to be.

Much of what is taught in the personal growth and development field is just part of the story. Where someone has focused on one or even a few aspects of what is involved and highlighting just those parts, which gives the impression that, that is all there is. Yes, in short change it is simple, but there are many ‘between the lines’ aspects that come into play, and one of these is affirmations.

It’s easy to allow ourselves to get consumed with one aspect of life development when our focus is on just one element, which is the case with many books and trainings. It is good to study and focus on one aspect if this is something specifically you feel you need to learn and user, but don’t forget about the whole picture.

Now those who say that just using affirmations will fix your life, seem to ‘forget’ about the aspects of action, among other things, which we can’t escape as we are in this physical reality. Yes, your thoughts and your feelings play a crucial role in how you manage and develop your life, but that’s not all. You must take appropriate actions, it’s your job, your design here in this physical reality we enjoy. If we weren’t suppose to be involved physically why are we here?

And, those who say affirmations are worthless are missing out on a powerful tool that has some purpose when one is working on their thinking. And, yes, your thinking is absolutely critical as everything revolves around it. I think why some people look down on the use of affirmations comes from their reaction to others who say that affirmations are all you need. But this all or nothing reaction does not serve anyone well.

Here are some ways that affirmations are useful in your self improvement work:

* Affirmations help set your tone. Your overall attitude and feeling will affect what you think about. It affects how you act and interact with others. It virtually colors your day. Using affirmations will help direct your daily tone.

* Affirmations help keep your thinking positive – on what you want and away from what you don’t want. If affirmations serve no other purpose for you than this, it makes them well worth using, if all you do is use affirmations to replace unwanted thinking with desirable thinking you have won big. A critical part of change is to learn to stop focusing on what you don’t want and rather focus on what you do want.

* Affirmations help build mental discipline. As you learn affirmations and actually use them regularly, you are training your mind to a different way of thinking on a daily basis. You are learning how you can change your thought and how to keep it as you want. You are learning to take command of your thinking by directing it rather than allowing everything to be automatic.

* Affirmations help evolve your thinking in the direction you want. As you develop affirmations for yourself, you are thinking about and expanding your thinking in the areas that you want to play a greater role in your life. The more you work with developing affirmative and supportive statements, the more you will discover what is possible.

Now, maybe if your thinking is already 100% supportive of what you want in life, where you are going, and you never slip into any thought of doubt, worry and what you don’t like, you don’t need affirmations. Actually if this is the case, you have already assimilated the affirmation like thought into your everyday thinking. Your conscious mind is already always on the positive, supportive congruent thoughts of your ideal life as it is freely unfolding. For anyone else, affirmations can be a useful tool.

Affirmations are a wonderful tool for effecting your thinking, which is very important in your growth and development, as long as you don’t get stuck thinking that this is all you need to do. It takes more than just your thoughts to see results, but developing your thinking is key to your knowing the right actions to take, when and how to get the results you want.

GPS Tracking Device Systems – Now Part Of Our Everyday Life

GPS Tracking Device Systems – Now Part Of Our Everyday Life

The United States military first introduced the global positioning system (GPS) technology in the 1970s solely for military use. In the 1980s, however, the restriction of use of this technology by military only was removed and it was made available for civilian use worldwide. The huge success of GPS in the military field, goaded development of the global positioning system technology in civilian applications with innovations in satellite navigation and GPS tracking device systems.

How do GPS Tracking Systems Work?

GPS can be used anywhere on earth, on land, at sea or in air. A minimum of 24 active GPS satellites orbit the earth every 12 hours. Each satellite transmits radio signals that help in finding the location, speed and direction of travel of users having GPS receivers. The whole world is covered by the constellation of GPS satellites, a convenient configuration facilitated by four satellites positioned in each of the six orbital planes.

Accuracy of GPS Tracking Device

Accuracy of GPS technology depends on the strength of signals that travel from GPS satellites to the GPS receiver. Accuracy is best when there is minimum obstacle between the sky and the receiver. If you are having a gizmo that receives a GPS signal, a good practice is to turn it on in a wide open area and stay there for a couple of minutes before the gadget gets the hang of the satellite signal. It takes about 60-80 milliseconds for a signal to travel from a GPS satellite to a GPS receiver.

The many uses of GPS

GPS is a massive leap forward for mankind in terms of technology innovation since the time the caveman first relied of footprints to track either human or animal movements. Today GPS technology is packed into as small a gadget as a cell phone or is installed in a car as a small widget. This literally means millions of people are able to use the GPS technology in their day-to-day lives.

It will be interesting to know the myriad areas of applications where GPS Tracking systems are used.

* Aviation: GPS Tracking Device Systems are the lifeline for aircraft pilots. GPS tracking software helps pilots for en route navigation and for airport approaches.

* Fleet tracking: GPS Fleet Tracking helps with automatic vehicle location and in-vehicle navigation systems.

* Environment – GPS is a great help during natural disasters. GPS helps survey disaster areas by mapping the movement of environmental phenomena like forest fires, oil spills and storms.

* Rail: GPS Tracking Device Systems are instrumental in locating trains, preventing collisions, maintaining smooth rail movements, and in minimizing delays.

* Surveying: In traditional surveying, locating a precise point of reference is very time consuming. All that is history now. GPS Technology has now made it easy to not only do simple tasks such as defining property lines but also perform complex tasks such as building infrastructures in thickly populated urban areas.

The above constitute only a small list of applications of GPS Tracking Device Systems. GPS has today made inroads into agriculture, recreation, marine and public safety. It will not be surprising when in the near future GPS Tracking Device Systems will be commonplace even among mundane people in developing countries.

An affirmation is a thought or any judgment we pass. Affirmations directly influences our sub consciousness which then directs it into a certain direction either leading to a positive or negative change in our lives. Affirmations can be related to anything such as weight loss, self-esteem, love or even helps discover artistic talents. Using the power of artist’s affirmations can help you discover your artistic and expressive side, which can help you not only in the realm of art, poetry, and the like, but also in relationships and in business.

Artist’s affirmations are different from ordinary person’s affirmation but you first need to figure out your creative self and what you are good at. Try to bring out your artist self by creating some artist affirmations such as ‘I am very creative’ or ‘I was born out of creativity’. Some are good at dancing, painting, acting and many more. The basic artist affirmation is to feel like an artist and pour out the emotions inside you. Feel the emotions and try putting those emotions in your work. When an artist has any affirmation, they actually love and respect their own thoughts and try their best to turn their thoughts into reality. Generic artist’s affirmations will work for some people, but for others, you need to be more specific when creating your artist affirmations.

To become a successful artist, an artist should get rid of any negative affirmations such as having a feeling of failure. The best way to get rid of negative affirmations for artists is to paint out their negative thoughts and then probably later destroy those paintings feeling that by destroying those paintings all the negative thoughts are destroyed along with the painting.

Secondly feel the energy of success with every affirmation you make. Successful artists always affirm that they is worthy of success. To become a successful artist, affirm on a daily basis to be more successful. This will help bring out true and successful artist in you. Also create works of art which express success, happiness, life full of energy and anything positive. An artist keeps these works to inspire him all the time. A successful artist not only affirms but also visualizes his affirmations. It is also important that very carefully artist hears his affirmations. Thus, make it a point to repeat your affirmations out loud to yourself, because this will enhance the experience.

Artist affirmations can be as generic or as specific as you’d like, however, in general, artistic affirmations should be general. Depending on your regular everyday speech patterns, creating an artist’s affirmation that states “I am creative when I paint” could be potentially harmful. This affirmation sounds exclusive, and as you come to believe in this artist’s affirmation, you may begin to believe that you are only creative when you paint. Thus, ‘I am a creative person’ would be better.

Many examples of artist affirmations are listed below and if practiced these artist affirmations regularly you will not only discover your creative self but also become a successful artist.

‘As I create and listen, I will be led’

‘Creativity is the creator’s will for me’

‘I am truly a gifted artist’

‘Through the use of a few simple tools, my creativity will flourish’

‘My creativity always leads me to success’

‘I am willing to create’

‘I am willing to learn to let myself create’

The dictionary description is:

af-fir-ma-tion [af-er-mey-shun]

1. The act or an instance of affirming; state of being affirmed.

2. the assertion that something exists or is true.

3. something that is affirmed; a statement or proposition that is declared to be true.

4. confirmation or ratification of the truth or validity of a prior judgment, decision, etc.

Thoughts repeated regularly and systematically sink into the subconscious mind and become habitual. Affirmations as these are called are used by many children and adults to create lasting changes in their lives. Finding the right affirmations to use is much more effective if it is in your own words and way of thinking. It is important that your affirmations are written in your own words since the subconscious will react better to your own thoughts than to the thoughts of someone else. It is easy to understand that you probably would not trust anyone more than you trust yourself. Start by taking notice of what you want to change in yourself. Write down on paper your thoughts, desires, and feelings that you may wish to improve upon.

How to use affirmations

When wording your affirmation, you need to use words and phrases for your affirmations in a positive manner rather than a negative manner. As an example, if you wanted to quit smoking, you would not want an affirmation such as “Cigarette smoking makes me sick” because you will in turn cause yourself to get sick. It is better to phrase affirmations like “I am a non-smoker” or “I am healthy and dislike the smell and taste of cigarette smoke” thereby instructing your subconscious to see a different you. When your subconscious sees yourself different, you will become different. Whatever the subconscious mind believes, the conscious mind becomes.

It is important to choose your words wisely. You do not want to use phrases like “I want” because no change will take place since your subconscious is already there. In other words, affirmations worded with “I want” simply are a statement of what “you want”, this only affirms that you will always want whichever it is your affirmations are presenting. You must see yourself as a different you by visualizing what it is you would like to accomplish. Use words like “I am” or “I have”, this allows your subconscious to visualize and believe you are already what you wish to become instead of what you want to become.

Positive affirmations can enhance any area of your life, from improving health, skills, success, relationships and more to conquering bad habits like unhealthy eating habits, aggressive tempers and attitudes, biting nails, bed wetting, drug addictions, or lack of attention and motivation. There are many resources available to help those who find creating affirmations to be difficult. Affirmations can be found on the Internet or in books. Remember to try and use any outside suggestions only as an example and maybe rephrase it in your own words. Thoughts and phrases should come from words within your terms of speaking. If you wish to improve your health, you can find hundreds of examples on the Internet that reflect healthy aspects. Though if for instance you were to find some health affirmations worded in a manner that you would not typically speak, you need to re-write that affirmation into your own words so that you comprehend what your affirmation means. Your subconscious will work faster with affirmations spoken in your terms of speaking faster than that of someone else’s if you do not fully understand it. An example of this could be the legal terminology that most attorneys use, most of us can read it and somewhat understand it, but the lawyers are the ones that can pick it apart and know exactly what it is exclaiming to in ways we probably never imagined. If your mind does not fully comprehend the meaning of the affirmations you are feeding it, your process will not take effect as fast.

How long before you see results

It can take approximately 20 days to create a lasting change but can start taking affect on your behavior a lot sooner where you can notice yourself actually beginning to change in the way you have expressed through your affirmations. It does matter how you use the affirmations too, if you only use your affirmations during the day instead at night like suggested, it may take longer to take affect. Using a recorder or an affirmation unit such as the Mindmaster at night can allow you to create the change subconsciously without the common distractions one normally endures during the day with normal everyday life. Whether it is distractions with traffic, kids, work, cellphones, animals, you name it, they take away from the effectiveness of repeating your affirmations. You could also possibly take time out of your day to go somewhere that is maybe free of these distractions, but that is sometimes a luxury that many of us don’t have. It also takes away from getting other things done too. However, when you are sleeping you have no distractions and the subconscious mind receives everything you tell it. Since your subconscious never sleeps, it is even more receptive to receiving and retaining messages because any doubt and disbelief, which are conscious barriers, are dissolved while you are sleeping, allowing your subconscious image to be changed more effectively.

Affirmations and children

Affirmations though not as widely used as they are for adults can be used with children to help them overcome obstacles that they face with growing up. Fears of the dark, fears of the potty, eating habits, aggressive behaviors, controlling emotions, improving skills and confidence. There are many uses just like with adults that can help your child as well. They should be able to utilize all available tolls that they can when growing up, this shapes them into who they will become later in life. Using affirmations with a child can be a bit different from the way we may use them as adults. Adults have the ability to remember they need to repeat their affirmations where kids usually lack the ability to remember the simplest things they were just told to do. This is where targeting the subconscious mind works best. Much like how adults use recorders, there is a product on the market that is designed for children to repeat their affirmation back to them at night while they sleep on a timed program so it is not in a continuous loop. It has been proven to work successfully with speaking toddlers guided by their parents directive. If you are having problems with potty training for instance, children have stopped wetting the bed in as little as a week, for good and all on their own. This not only helps give the child a sense of accomplishment but also self confidence and belief that they can achieve their goals.

Everyday Uses For the Camera on Your Mobile Cell Phone

Everyday Uses For the Camera on Your Mobile Cell Phone

Research carried out by Microsoft, called “How and Why People Use Camera Phones” involved talking with ‘ordinary’ mobile phone users. The survey interviewed a number of people and looked at the photos they had stored on their camera phones, to examine what type of photos were taken, and why they were taken. This showed, possibly unsurprisingly, that most photos captured on a digital camera phone, were taken either for personal reflection or for sharing with others, either in the traditional way or for sending electronically to absent friends or relatives.

A small proportion of the photographs were taken for more practical purposes, and although touched upon in their report, it is this use that we will be focusing on here.

Because your mobile is always to hand it makes a great tool for instantly capturing things you need to remember when you are out and about. The additional advantage over a traditional pen and paper based approach to recording memos, is the level of detail that you can capture in a photograph.

For example, imagine you are out shopping for a new kitchen oven and are comparing different products. There can be a great deal of choice between gas, electric, induction, button less technology, 4 ring or 2 ring, inset or free standing, the criteria can go on and on. You will probably be able to immediately refine the list, excluding those that are too expensive, those that are too big to fit in your kitchen, and the ones that you just don’t like the look of. For the rest, most electrical appliance shops put summary information on the price tag, including model number, dimensions, price and warranty information. With a quick snap of your camera phone you can record all of this and an image of the product in question, for those you are interested in, before moving onto the next store. Back at home, you can price compare on the internet against the model numbers you have recorded and also verify that the product for offer on the internet looks the same as that in the shop. You can then make an informed decision on which appliances are best for your needs.

Similarly, your camera phone is a great tool for taking down telephone numbers or contractor details, when you are out and about. On the way back from looking at ovens, you spy a team of gardeners working in a nicely tended garden. You just happen to be looking for a garden maintenance firm to quote for some work, and a photograph of their liveried van gives you their name, website details and telephone number, allowing you to research the firm before booking an appointment with them.

Many people will carry their mobile with them to call for help in case of emergencies, but how many think of using the camera to record details of an accident? If you are involved in a motor accident, or are witness to one, it is very easy to get events confused, because of the stressful nature of the situation. Once it is clear that no one is injured, and you know emergency services have been alerted, a few photographs of the scene, before vehicles are moved, can be invaluable to you later when you have to recall exactly what was where and what damage was done to what vehicle.

By getting into the habit of using the camera on your mobile cell phone for practical purposes, you can make more use of a sophisticate piece of electronic equipment and make sure you always have a detailed recording device with you.
