Self Improvement Requires Faith and Persistence

Self Improvement Requires Faith and Persistence

About me, I receive many e-mails from people around the world wanting to make improvements both personally and professionally. And I’ll admit, that self improvement does mean different things to different people, but the one thing many people can agree upon is the proactive desire in self improvement in specific aspects of your life.

Your question is identify various areas of your life that need improvement in, and to develop a smart goals map in getting there. Self improvement is a life-long process. As human beings, we are all marred by sin. Don’t worry, this is not a sermon on the mount, or dissertation on theology 101 for you agnostics or anti God people.

But I do have enough experience approaching 11 years of helping private industry and private individuals in setting goals and from my experience, believe one of the many reasons people suffer through failures in their lives, is not having the trusting faith in God, and in their God given abilities in pursuing your life dreams.

Hope and Faith

Where is your hope and faith in life? As a Christian believer in the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and savior, I believe completely in the power of prayer that only God Almighty is able to provide. Life is tough enough and a challenge on good days, and my hope and faith in God above is able to overcome any obstacle that the world brings my way, including areas of self improvement.

If you’re struggling with self improvement in your own life, ask God in your prayers in helping you in these specific areas that you need help in overcoming. Ask Him how to meditate to Him, in helping you in yourself improvement pursuits in life. If everything else you’ve tried in self improvement has not worked, you have everything to gain including your eternal salvation, in trusting in God in helping you to overcome obstacles and challenges in your life.

God wants nothing but successful relationships with all God’s children. If you want to know the secret in how to succeed in your life, put God first in your life…

Develop a Positive Attitude Mindset

You have heard the statement in health circles; “you are what you eat.”, with respect to nutritional health for people trying to live more healthier lives. Well the same is even more true about your mental outlook on life. Just as it is true you are what you put into your mouth and your body regarding food intake, you are what you think, what you allow to penetrate your mind.

This is not an indictment on your positive attitude or lack thereof, only to challenge you into examining your attitude. Do you genuinely think of positive uplifting thoughts to influence your mind and your day, or do you lack the required positive thinking mindset needed for self improvement and accomplishing your life goals? Pray and ask God to help you in this area if your attitude needs adjustment.

Develop the Self Motivation and Self Discipline

Knowledge is Power, but unless you apply the knowledge, you are just wasting time and submitting to procrastination. Where is your self motivation and your self discipline which is required? Only by putting your faith into action, by harnessing the self discipline and having the self motivation in self improvement can you make improvements in these areas of your life.

Self Improvement Means Being Accountable to You

I can be your mentor and your life coach in pointing you in the right direction, providing you a road map for your career goals, your business goals pursuits, or even your entrepreneurship aspirations in your life, but eventually, you need to sit be hind the wheel and drive the car yourself.

Develop a plan of what you need to do improve upon now. Don’t allow your fear of failure or uncertainty keep you on the sidelines of life. You are both your greatest ally and arch nemesis, but it is only you who decides which one will rule. Your life is waiting…

Affirmations are simply positive, or affirmative, statements of truth. The tricky part is that the truth of the affirmation need not be a “present reality;” it can be a future reality you truly wish to create. By declaring this future reality in positive, definite terms, you are tasking your conscious and unconscious mind with finding this new reality. It is important to consider that, when your prayer is answered, it will be now; so, the proper way to “declare a thing” and make it so is to offer thanks NOW – in this moment – for your desired reality as if it had already happened. Your emotional guidance system will seek to recreate the experience of being happy for having achieved this particular goal; and it is likely to do it by bringing that goal to fruition.

Life is a continuous series of changing circumstances. Our thoughts help us make sense of this ever-changing landscape; and they help guide us from one event to another along this path to future “now’s.” Along the way to your future, you are continuously asked to offer thought as a way of generating your future realities. Change happens with or without your input; but you can create affirmative change with affirmative thought. Consider the following words from two great teachers of this path of positive thought and affirmative action:

“Be the change you seek to create in the world.” – Gandhi

“Do unto others what you would have them do unto you.” – Jesus

“Declare a thing and it is so.” – Jesus

“As a man thinketh, so is he.” – Jesus

“Our thoughts become our words as they become our beliefs; our beliefs become our actions as they become our habits. Our habits become our values as our values become our destiny.” – Gandhi

“Whatsoever you desire, when you stand in prayer – believing – will be given unto you.” – Jesus

Believing in a thing is affirming it – it makes it firm, or physical. As you think about a thing which has sparked your interest or curiosity, or which has become desirable to you, your thoughts will naturally want to return there. As you think of a new thing, you will begin to notice that new thing in your world where you haven’t noticed it before. You will also begin to look in new places, read new books and magazines, and perhaps begin doing research or study in this new area of thought. As you give more attention and thought-energy to these ideas, you will develop mental imagery and additional ideas.

The imagery and new ideas you experience, while giving thought to your new desire, will make you feel a certain way. If the feelings are positive, your desire will grow; if your feelings are negative the desire may also grow, but it will likely grow into that which you are afraid of. If your thoughts are positive, and they excite you, you will probably begin speaking about them, as we think and talk about those things which most interest us. These thoughts and words will then stimulate actions and behaviors. Affirmative thoughts inspire affirmative action. Inspired action seems to be effortless and always creates positive change and new realities.

Just imagine that you are programming a computer; you wouldn’t tell the computer all the things you don’t want it to do. You simply tell the computer – in a language it understands – what you want it to do; and then you tell it to do it. Your mind and body operate in much the same way; so, your self-talk – which is actually a type of self-programming – should always be affirmations of what you want to happen. Your programs should always be positive, affirmative, direct, and specific; but you should keep in mind that this is a process – and part of the process is exercising patience and a peaceful countenance. You may not master this immediately; so relax, and be of good cheer.

By thinking and speaking affirmative words, we can generate an affirmative mood, or disposition; an affirmative disposition is one which is free from stress. This state of mind and body is a healing state. Positive thoughts do not stress us out; that’s because they do not cause or stimulate the release of the harmful stress hormones which we experience as “bad feelings.” The way we phrase our words and intentions has a lot to do with the way our subconscious hears, interprets, and acts on those thoughts we hold so important that we took the time and energy to turn them into words. When you turn a desire into words, it is one step closer to becoming a physical reality.

Imagine that you are ordering dinner and you tell the waitress what NOT to bring you. Do you know what you will get for dinner? Some people say that affirmations are not useful or effective because they affirm the lack of the thing you are affirming. In these cases, semantics are everything; re-framing your negative desires into positive affirmations may take some time and thought, but it is worth it. A declaration of what you do not want is really a “negation,” and not an “affirmation.”

By saying, “I don’t want to be sick,” or “God, please take away my illness,” you are focusing on the fact that you are sick, or have an illness; and you are trying to negate it by thinking about it. This does not work. Though you may heal; it will be through natural processes that you could have sped up with an affirmation instead of slowing down with a negation. “Thank you, God, for giving me this wonderful health and strength so I can go for a walk!” is a much better prayer for restoring health and wellness than those listed above.

To create health, wellness, happiness, success, and prosperity, in all areas of your life, begin thinking positively and affirmatively. Think creatively and optimistically if you wish to create a new reality. Express gratitude in your affirmations; and try to feel the feeling of gratitude in your heart as you imagine the happy, new reality you wish to create. Continue to affirm only those things you wish to experience in your life, body, and experience. Below are a few examples of affirmative prayers for health, prosperity, etc; they will give you an idea of how effective thinkers effectively create using effective, affirmative thought. Affirmations need only contain gratitude, joy, and a positive intention.

Try generating a new attitude in the areas where you have problems or suffering. Consider re-framing your focus on the most positive statement you could make about the conditions you wish to experience. “A man must first assume those characteristics he wishes to possess.” Some people say, “Fake it until you make it;” but repeating affirmations will help you choose a more positive track for your thoughts. Try some of the following affirmative thoughts and see how they feel to you; say them out loud and hear how they make you feel:

If you are ill and thinking, “God I feel miserable!” try thinking:

Health – “Thank you, God, for giving me health and strength so that I might live fully and be a model of health and joy to others. Thank you for giving me the strength, courage, and willingness, to do the things that enrich and empower me…”

If you are in turmoil and chaos and thinking, “I’m going to kill someone if these people don’t get off my back!” or “I don’t know what to do! I’m so afraid and worried…” try thinking:

Peace – “Thank you, God, for giving me peace. Thank you for giving me faith and trust and for quieting my mind so that I might rest and hear more clearly your will…”

If you are experiencing relationship problems, instead of thinking, “God I am married to such a _________!!! I can’t stand this anymore!” try thinking:

Relationships – “Thank you, God, for giving me the love and wisdom to see you in all your creation and to love all creation and all living things unconditionally. Love and harmony are alive and well in all my relationships.”

If you are experiencing weight issues and you hate what you see in the mirror, try thinking:

Weight Loss – “I am happy and peaceful here and now. I am safe and loved and create my own peace, security, and nourishment from the power from within me. I am free; and I release the past and others to be free now.”

If you are having financial difficulties, instead of thinking about debt, or a pile of bills, try thinking:

Prosperity – “My good returns to me now in an avalanche of abundance; thank you, God, for prospering me in all my ways. Only good comes to me; and there is always more than enough to share.”

If you can’t seem to make things work out, and you’re thinking, “Why can’t I ever catch a break?” try thinking:

Success – “Thank you, God, for growing my good thoughts now. I give thanks for the wonderful insights and ideas which I have been given and are now coming to light. Thank you for all things going my way, favoring me with your blessings, and for benefiting all as your grace now benefits me. “

“It’s the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief. And once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things begin to happen.”

– Muhammad Ali

If you have already read any materials related to Law of Attraction, you will understand that one of the main purposes for using affirmations is to strengthen our belief system so that we can harness the power of subconscious mind to attract and manifest what we want in our life.

You may start thinking, yes I did start to affirm what I want, but it just doesn’t seem to happen as things just don’t go according to plan and seem worse than before.

In this article, we will explore 5 main reasons why your affirmation doesn’t work:

1. Verbal instead of mind reading – During the time when we are working with an affirmation, we may be just using our mind to read from the material, such as an affirmation book or affirmation card. If that’s the case, our mind will just simply read and observe it, so it doesn’t have enough energy to hold the intention and it will not be able to create a solid belief and programming. The best way is to affirm it out loud verbally. Sound is form of vibration and when we use our voice, it creates a higher frequency, thus it helps to strengthen the belief, so your subconscious mind thinks you are quite serious and mean what you are saying.

2. Don’t be greedy – sometimes we just want everything in one go, especially when it comes to affirmations. Our ego may think, ‘the more affirmations we read, the better it will go!’ But do you know, when we are reading a list of affirmations, we tend to lose focus of which affirmation we are actually focusing on? Because of this, the mind is not able to register the affirmation since it has already become confused. To counteract this, why not just pick 1 affirmation and focus on it with all your energy and enthusiasm? I would suggest that affirmations are done at least twice a day for 5 to 10 minutes every time.

3. Lack of perseverance – affirmations mean we keep on affirming what we want so that it becomes a part of the positive belief in our mind. But, most of the time we tend to lose focus and become distracted by external factors such as work challenges or relationship issues, so it is very important to set your own time and focus on the affirmation everyday without letting external challenges beat you. From the scientific and metaphysic point of view, if we keep on doing the same affirmation for 21 days, it will form a positive habit and programme within our subconscious mind, so why not set yourself a goal, do it for 21 days and also show your faith to God?

4. Lack of Feeling and Emotion – How we are feeling when we are doing our affirmation work directly affects their efficiency. If you are affirming but feeling a fear of lack or you are doing affirmations for the sake of affirming then your affirmations are not likely to work the way you want them too. Our feelings and emotions serve as the “lubricant” for affirmations so if we charge up the affirmation with positive feelings of love, joy and enthusiasm, your manifestation power will be significantly magnified. It is the same process in reverse if you affirm with emptiness or coldness, the feeling will eventually block the manifestation process and your affirmations will not work.

5. Too focused on Positive beliefs – Our subconscious mind is full of a mixture of positive and limiting beliefs that may cause inner conflict. For example, we belief we want abundance, yet we also believe we don’t deserve it. This issue is known as having dual-beliefs. So these two beliefs actually counteract the other, with the end result of nothing being achieved. When we want to cultivate positive beliefs we have to be willing to be honest with ourselves to see if we have any negative and limiting beliefs that may block the “new” positive belief that we are trying to cultivate from being manifested? To do this, create a list of negative beliefs that you may have and clear them from your subconscious mind through affirmation work. By doing this, your new and positive affirmations are able to function easily and effectively.

Abundant Prosperity – What Kind of Faith Delivers the Goods?

Abundant Prosperity – What Kind of Faith Delivers the Goods?

Abundant prosperity requires living by the right kind of faith. It is through faith that we touch the very source of life. If we could measure a man’s faith we could come very near to predicting accurately the measure of his success in life.

TWO KINDS OF FAITH

There is a specific kind of faith that will deliver the abundant goods for a prosperous life. The kind of faith required is heart faith.

BELIEVING WITH YOUR HEAD FAITH

First let’s talk about the kind of faith that does NOT deliver the goods – head faith.

Chances are you’ve heard of this type of faith found in a man often referred to as ‘Doubting Thomas’. Thomas did not believe the other disciples when they said they saw the Lord. Thomas only believes after he himself sees Jesus. Jesus says blessed are those that have NOT seen, and yet believed. (You can read this account in John chapter twenty of the Bible.)

The point is: head faith only believes what it can see and feel and is based on mental reasoning.

BELIEVING WITH YOUR HEART FAITH

Heart faith is what delivers the goods. Heart faith believes regardless of what it sees and in spite of circumstances.

No wonder Abraham is a primary example of someone whose faith was of the heart. In Romans chapter four it says Abraham believed in what was spoken even though he couldn’t see it. He didn’t consider the present situation in unbelief, but was strong in faith and fully persuaded.

What happens when you have real faith of the heart? Faith in your heart produces results.

By the way, it’s no surprise that a lot of people struggle because they have doubt in their minds. But I want to point out that you can still get results even when you have some doubts in your mind.

Jesus says we can have what we Say if we do not doubt in our Heart. (Mark 11:23) And then Proverbs 3:5 tells us to trust the Lord with all our Heart, and lean not on our own understanding (thoughts and feelings).

The simple fact of the matter is this: True faith is of the heart and not the head. What is in the heart of our being is who we are and what we become.

“As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” — Proverbs 23:7

Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. So take time to listen to the Word in the area you believe to receive.

Doesn’t it make sense to harness this dynamic heart faith to produce abundant prosperity in your life? Now you can. And confessing and speaking the powerful phrases of The Word is one of the most effective ways to attract abundance.

May you live by heart faith and continue to experience growing prosperity!

Creating Prosperity and Abundance – Keeping the Faith

Creating Prosperity and Abundance – Keeping the Faith

What It Takes To Create Prosperity and Abundance

Often, a higher level of living and creating prosperity and abundance involves putting more order and creativity into the daily activities of work and home. It includes living from the peace and joy of trusting Source. It means living the best life possible in the current financial situation. It takes faith, wisdom, and inventiveness to live a good life. Mastery of mind and emotions toward the practice of positive prosperous habits of living also takes planning and persistence.

How To Keep Your Faith Strong As You Are Creating Prosperity and Abundance

Inspirational reading, prayer, and meditation can help keep your faith strong. Practicing the Presence of Spirit in self and in your life will keep you aware of the Reality of a Higher Power working with you. Putting spiritual growth as the central focus of your life shifts your attention from the outer and limiting perception of “lack of abundance and prosperity”.

Cultivating discipline and exercising your will can help you put order into your daily habits and with steady and strong routine you will find your faith increasing. Even throwing out junk and giving away long-unused items that clutter up your home establishes a new sense of order and reflects your new values of better quality living.

Straightening up and putting what we do have to the best possible use shows our subconscious mind we are serious about living at a higher level, thereby activating and exercising our muscle of faith. Utilizing and enjoying the best you have, such as using your best clothes and dishes, will be a way to sustain the mental attitude of prosperity and abundance.

Naturally, being thankful and giving thanks for everything you have is another way of improving the value of things, experiences and people. This again creates and strengthens the attitude of prosperity and abundance and creates a sense of belief and faith inside of you the you “are exactly where you need to be and on the right track”. Exercising gratitude is one of the most powerful and fastest ways to get yourself in a state of heightened faith and certainty, rather than wasting mental energy on attitudes and beliefs that surround doubt and worry.

Sharing and giving of what you have is a way of being thankful to Source and keeps you in the flow of the prosperity and abundance of the Universe. The general rule in giving is to give to the place where you receive spiritual good, the place you can identify as being connected with Spiritual Source. Even in times of little money, regular small giving reinforces your faith in Source and keeps you in the natural flow of giving and receiving with the Universe and therefore in the flow and pathways of abundance and prosperity.

There are other ways of giving besides money; you can share of your abundance and prosperity in ways such as with your good will, with compliments, extra things no longer needed, or flowers from your garden or wild from the woods. I believe nothing makes humans feel richer than helping another feel and increase happiness whether by a homemade gift or small service.

Use the wealth of your creativity and faith rather than your pocket money to enrich your life with beauty, love and joy. Be inventive in beautifying your home and be spontaneous in reaction to opportunities for expressions of love and humor. Practice playfulness in your world for many moments of joy.

Watch and learn from small children as they express wonder at a bug or flower, or enjoy stomping through water puddles, gazing at the stars, or savoring every bite and morsel of a new or favorite food. Children are especially good at being masters of attitudes of abundance, prosperity and faith. They’ll easily ask you for not one, but TWO swimming pools for Christmas (one for each of the siblings) and ask it with full belief and faith that they can and will get it.

In obsession with poverty based thoughts and worries it is easy to forget how much of your life is still good! Sustain your abundance and prosperity energy by keeping faith in self, faith in your life process and the Source that you believe in.

Positive daily affirmations can help you to reprogram your mind from the negative self talk that you have had for years. For this to work effectively, you need to repeat positive statements of a desirable outcome like a mantra on a daily basis a few times per day.

Positive daily affirmations help to redirect your values, formulate goals for success or simply help you to boost your self confidence. They can be used to improve areas such as wealth, success, health, relationships or self esteem.

Here are 10 tips to writing effective Positive Daily Affirmations

1. Develop Them Yourself. Self-developed affirmations are the most effective positive daily affirmations. If you couple them with clearly defined written goals and applied faith, their power is even stronger.

2. Feel Them. The emotional dimension of each affirmation should never be overlooked. When you can additionally “feel” your affirmation, its total impact increases tremendously. For instance, if your affirmation is “I am a successful public speaker”, then visualize how it will be like to be receiving a standing ovation from a hall full of people.

3. Make Them In the Present Tense. You should state your positive daily affirmations in the present tense, that is, use “I am…” rather than “I will be…” Saying things in the present tense will program your subconscious mind to believe that what you affirm is already a fact. In other words, you have no doubt in your mind that what you desire is a given and not just a wish that may or may not happen.

4. Make Affirmations Positive. Another important tip in formulating your affirmations is to write them in the positive state. A negative statement cannot work. For instance, you should say “I am rich” rather than “I am not poor”.

5. Make Positive Daily Affirmations Short And Clear. First, because your experience will create the conditions that allow affirmations to manifest, word the affirmations carefully to make them crystal-clear. State your real, innermost desires and articulate your most expansive sense of self. Affirmations based on a narrow self-concept deliver results that fall short, cause suffering, and further diminish the sense of self.

7. Increase Your Faith. Of course, the more faith you have in them, the more effective your affirmations will be. The desires and dreams that your mind can conceive bear seeds of possibility, and possibilities ultimately become realities.

8. Say Positive Daily Affirmations With Conviction. Some experts recommend saying positive daily affirmations silently. They say that silent affirmations are more effective than spoken statements, because they entail more intensity of concentration and resonate through your entire body instead of in your surroundings. Others recommend saying them out loud, because you can also use your facial expression or hand gestures for more conviction. For whatever it is, positive daily affirmations made in a half hearted manner are not going to be as effective as the ones that you make with deliberate intention.

9. Follow Up With Actions. Lastly, you will also need to put in some actions, so that you can lay the ground for their manifestation. For instance, affirming that you will win the lottery can only be possible when you buy a ticket.

10. Remind Yourself Daily. In a hurried lifestyle with 1001 things to do, you can find it hard to remember to repeating the positive daily affirmations. Hence, put them in a visible location, like on the wall or in front of the mirror or save them in a PowerPoint slide to be used as a screensaver.

Here are some examples to help illustrate the above 10 tips:

Positive Daily Affirmations For Self Confidence

1. I am sure of my ability to do what is necessary to improve my life.

2. I feel good about the way I do my job.

3. I love myself and accept myself for who I am.

Positive Daily Affirmations For Abundance

1. All the things I want and need come to me.

2. I am an abundant person.

3. I create abundance in all that I say and do.

Positive Daily Affirmations For Success

1. I am successful.

2. Everything I do turns into success.

3. I attract positive-minded people to me; I draw all things positive to myself.

How to Find Christian Faith, Trust, and Patience in Today’s Economy and Society

How to Find Christian Faith, Trust, and Patience in Today’s Economy and Society

Christians know that they are supposed to be filled with faith, have unending trust, and should display patience in all things. The truth is many Christians are worried and insecure about economic, social, and political concerns of the day. The good news is that such worry and fear is unnecessary.

The Simple Secret

Living a simple life isn’t just a scriptural suggestion and a requirement for entering eternal life; it is the secret to living each earthly day with the peace and joy that relationship with Jesus Christ promises. The temptation many fall victim to is becoming lost in the circumstances of their lives, thinking that everything is just too complicated.

Finding Christian faith, trust, and patience in today’s world depends upon our ability to return to a simpler life view. The test is to live in the world, but not be overcome by the world. Consider these three; faith, trust, and patience, in these very simple terms.

Faith

Christian faith believes God IS Who He says He is.

Faith isn’t wimpy or pathetic, but the strong foundation that gives you the confidence needed to meet the circumstances of life set before you each day in the news, your home, and your community.

Trust

Christian trust believes God CAN do what He says He can do.

Faith in God leads to trust in unseen things. The human eye cannot see God, and while you may not understand the details of His bigger plan, by placing your trust in the relationship available to you today you are able to know Him personally. Trust knows that God is fully capable of carrying out every promise He has made.

Patience

Christian patience comes when you believe God WILL do what He promised He will do.

Patience knows that God is on His throne, and that He doesn’t sleep or take vacations. Nothing economically, socially, or politically happens except by the specific will or permission of God. Patience knows the end of the story and is content to wait until it plays out at the appointed time.

All That Matters is Relationship

Anything of any real value in life is somehow connected to a relationship. Everything else is just detail. There is one element of relationship more important than any other, Time.

Trust comes from knowing the God your faith believes in, and knowing Him personally through relationship. Christians learn to create wonderful relationships with family, friends, and fellow Christians by first understanding how this most important relationship works.

Patience allows you to progressively learn first the foundations of relationship, and then how to build on that foundation. Christians believe God IS, CAN, and WILL.

The only important element of life is relationship; all else merely describes your circumstances. The world is a mess, but the crystal sea at the foot of God’s throne is still as smooth as glass. Don’t look to the events and wisdom of the world for help, that’s what got you into the stew to begin with.

Look to your relationship with God. It’s that simple.

Building a Home – It’s Like a Leap of Faith & a Voyage Into the Unknown

Building a Home – It’s Like a Leap of Faith & a Voyage Into the Unknown

Building a home is a lot like living a life. There are twists and turns that you simply can’t predict. Despite a cautious approach or extensive planning, someone or something is going to throw you a curve.

This scares a lot of people and stops them in their tracks. What about you? What holds you back and what spurs you on?

In my years of advising and coaching homeowners and home-owner builders, I’ve been fortunate to learn as much about people as about building and homes. I’ve found there is just as much uniqueness as there is commonality. Whatever the differences, there are two over-arching approaches people take when building (and living.)

1) Extensive Preparation & Planning

Those who know me understand that I’m big on planning before a home building or remodeling project. Extensive preparation can certainly minimize the number and magnitude of challenges that arise. Many people are convinced this is the only way to go.

I’ve worked with masters at charting a clear path and anticipating as many potential problems as possible. But, interestingly, their approach to home building doesn’t always result in smoother sailing.

2) The More Intuitive “Let’s Get Started” Approach

Then these are those who just want to plow ahead. They feel that they’re flexible enough to handle whatever comes there way, whenever it comes. And, they also seem to be convinced that very little will go wrong in the first place. They are the optimists that say “bring it on, we can handle it.”

Personally, I like optimistic people even though I favor more preparation. However, I’m often surprised to see how well it can work for some who do experience relatively smooth sailing despite the curve balls.

HomeBuilding & Life Require a Balanced Approach

Life would be boring if it were all scripted out for us and we knew everything ahead of time. We need challenges and surprises from time to time. It spices up our lives. Yet, at the same time, we need order and routine to give us security and a solid foundation that gives us the confidence to move forward.

It’s the same with home building. We must plan and prepare to get things done but be flexible enough to handle the “uh-ohs” when they surprise us. It’s a balance.

Parents, Teachers & HomeBuilding Coaches

There will always be the unknown. It’s my observation that we get past it, and excel in life by watching, emulating, and seeking advice from parents, teachers and other authority figures. From learning to walk and talk, to understanding how to interact with people, to making a living and reaching our goals, we receive guidance from others who’ve been there … done that.

It’s no different with home building and remodeling. There are those who have experience and knowledge that we don’t possess. Those are the people we should seek out. A home building coach can inspire you. A home building coach can get you started. A good coach can outline your path, provide support, trouble-shoot, and keep you on the straight and narrow.

The Faith to Leap

A good home building coach can inspire the faith to proceed. So, despite your approach to building, methodical or more intuitive, using a home building coach can provide the balance that brings success.

Faith and Logic

Faith and Logic

(Logic vs. Faith) We talk of faith as if it is abstract, an intrinsic spirit that has to bite you before it becomes real, subjective (and when you get the blessing from the faith you don’t have, but wish you had, and the echo hits God’s ears, then we call it by-chance, for nothing else could have produced it). Faith, its roots are belief, trust, very simple roots, but if you hate God, pride will stop the faith from entering the soul, and what do you have left, a Jaw bone from Darwin’s theory; logic has much more to deal with, in the race of thought (or thinking and deduction).

The question may come up in this prose work, is God to be understood logically or by faith? If you saw Jesus, whom the Christians call God incarnate, would you say “This is not logical?” So therefore it is not, and is simply an illusion, for some reason, my mind must be taxed? In reality, I don’t know what the other man would say, but I know what I would say “It is Jesus, because I saw him,” and therefore logical or not, it is (we may have to look at whose logical concepts are we dealing with also, Plato’s or Aristotle’s? (or my own)-they did not think the same you know, so who was right?). And no one can tell me otherwise.”

All the scientists out there don’t read this, it will just spoil your breakfast or lunch, go back to the moon. But is there a moon (maybe he can’t go back there, he only saw it), maybe it is not, but we’ve been there right? Or at least someone has, maybe it is not so, just a lie, on top of a created illusion (like Darwin’s Fairy Tale, no one ever saw an ape man; we saw a Jaw from the Heidelberg Man, and a few more fragments from the Java woman, and now we got a human ape running around a million years ago, sent by Darwin via, his theory, is this logical? It takes a lot more faith to believe in this, than God.) Anyhow, the moon, perhaps we saw, special effects as they call it. Anyhow, I will take it by faith that man has been on the moon, for I can’t see any real concrete logic here.

Now what is logic and faith have to do with the moon? I believe because I saw it on TV, and in the magazines, man landing on the moon in 1969, sat in a bar in San Francisco, but I saw Jesus also, on TV and in the magazines also, and in some visions, and I see the moon in the sky so it is as seeing Jesus in the person also, so I have three equal elements here, actually Jesus has one up. What is logistical here? We shall look at that in a moment, we can call it reasoning out, in what we are doing now, or common sense (which is not all that common nowadays, which is seeing might be believing), or it can be judgment, and that we have to hope is correct, and it does not mean judgment by science, although scientist would claim I think it should be. Logic to me is perhaps closer to ‘What else could it be?” Most folks who study the cosmos come to the conclusion, there has to be a God (I read that someplace, but it makes sense in that, we cannot conceive a beginning, only an end).

(Did Jesus exist?) More evidence out there says He did, and it’s been out there a very long time, perhaps more than believing in a Davy Crockett, or Daniel Boon, or a Muhammad or a George Washington. We have only paintings of these folks (and some written documents), like Jesus, in a way, but his has more worldwide expectance, more pictures, is known in more countries, and the New Testament of the Bible was written because of Him. Christmas was created because of Him, and BC and AD was created because of him, until some goofball change it, must had been an angry believer who did not get his way with God. Anyhow, point of fact, Jesus is more known than any of these fellows, yet, he is more in question of His existence, this is not logical to me. But we believe our historians would not make them up, so we have faith in them, we believe them, we trust them (or do we, and perhaps we are in a bubble). But I like Davy Crockett, although I think, and could most likely prove, a lot of what they say he did (or he said he did in his book), is not up to the full truth (and I never ever even say Davy in a vision yet).

(Logic and Reason) When we talk philosophy, we are talking about logic or reasoning, are we not? Plato, Socrates, and Aristotle, and their kind, argued on what was and what was not, or appeared not to be, but should be because it is. Socrates was killed because he made what he thought was a logical determination, that there was only one God, not many, Athens did not like it. He put logic and faith into one bag. Prior to this we had a whole lot of gods in one bag doing nothing, all based on faith, no logic; I’ve found out in life what seems right today, ten years down the road, it becomes to the contrary, and so at best, I got to say we bend logic in each age as did the Athenians, as we bend the bible, or Karen today, or the Talmud, to suite the reasoning we want to come out at the other end, and those who go against it, go against the: church, mosque, or synagogue, are outcasts, whom really are observers, and should be treated as such.

(Examples) Is it right to kill whales, so we can have whale stews, or steak? Or to kill Elephants because there are too many in a park, and people want ivory? Debates are often won by who buys the biggest dinner, it all sounds logical to be a big receiver. It is all in who is the interpreter, especially if it involves self-interest. If anyone knew this, it was Socrates. Philosophy is perhaps the only discipline, if you can call it that, which has not advanced much in comparisons to psychology, anthropology, sociology, and all the rest of the zoologies and methods we use to understand the world of man.

I don’t wish to be the logic-chopper today, but take all these theories, and theorems and disputations and throw them into the wind, renew the encrypted, and nuclease mind, the first step, to expurgation the overlapping pretense, and self-interest, now common sense can flow (which was not common a moment ago, with faith).

(Conclusion) In the process of reasoning out whatever you are reasoning out, use some faith with it, it is better to believe in something believable, even if it does not hold the logic the professor prefers you have-why? First, because to you it is believable, second is there a reason not to believe it, I mean, did the believer, the one you believe in do something to you to be put into second place, and thus, untrustworthy? If not believe-why? Here we go again, because it is healthier to do so. The reasoning here comes into play, when the person is not trustworthy, then if you believe in him, it is not faith you are working with, but gullibility (and you are blind, or it is more painful for you to jump out of denial).

(Going against the grain) Do not damn the sources of error, or make hurdles for folks to jump over them, some minds are weak, and need pictures and images to worship, a weak mind of faith is not domination, or the unpardonable sin, it is reality for the other person, habit you could say, and often mistaken for a thing (let’s hope it is not, a pray is better than a curse), but the error is not so unreasonable as to make it proceed above a human being. Let it sink, where it may, God will take it from there, He always does, contrary perhaps to the suspended universe, hovering above us, but I can live with that, if the mirrors can live with my face.

Creating powerful affirmations is a technique that is coveted, as once you master this process–you can literally manifest what you strongly desire fast, easily and with a whole lot of fun! The quality of your life improves dramatically–almost overnight! Creating powerful affirmations is technique that is interwoven with the Deliberate Creation process and it is recommended when you are describing and writing your life goals.

How to create powerful affirmations is a question many have asked, few have mastered.

Affirmations are deliberately and concisely constructed statements which, when properly understood, accepted and practiced can transform your health and your future. Often times, these affirmations are silent, unspoken, but rather thoughts generated from our minds. Some people would call them prayers. Positive affirmations are those that are focused on positive things, deliberate thoughts that bring one feelings of love, passion, enlightenment, faith and hope. To read about the 10 steps on how to create powerful affirmations keep reading below.

1)The first step in how to create powerful affirmations is belief–believing what you want is already hear, and that it is yours–now! Undeniable.

Affirmations are nothing more than a string of words, however, which will not make a difference unless you know how to use them for maximum effectiveness. When you give you positive affirmations power and energy, they take off, go out into the universe and attract back to you all the health that you desire. You must give them power and energy in order to get your results. You must believe them to be true.

2) One of the most important techniques in how to create powerful affirmations is repetition!

3) When you want to master the process of how to create powerful affirmations make sure you fill your affirmative thoughts with positive emotions.

4) Mastery of the process of how to create powerful affirmations usually requires that we examine and change your current thought paradigms. This can be a painful process for some, a step in self discovery for others. But replacing old, disruptive thought patterns and belief systems is critical to evolving and changing life circumstances.

5) In order to master the process of how to create powerful affirmations you should always attach gratitude to your message. It is suggested that you begin each positive affirmation as “Yes! I am so happy and grateful now that…” For example, “Yes! I am so happy and grateful now that I can run five miles three times a week.”

6) In the process of how to create powerful affirmations remember to always affirm big!!! If your goals do not scare you just a little bit, than you have not set the bar high enough…make big goals, dream big dreams and believe it is all for you!

7) In this next step in the 10 step process of how to create powerful affirmations you want to map out your goals. Make a plan. Have you ever tried to go on a road trip or vacation without a plan? No. This is no different, make a plan, plot out your course. It is much easier to attain a goal if you have it visualized and you can plot your progess and see if you get off course.

8)Want to manifest quickly? The next step in how to create powerful affirmations is to visualize it. Practice creative visualization techniques; this helps you to see your goals and desires clearly in your mind. This process is one of the most powerful techniques you can use to manifest quickly. This process of creative visualization is very effective, as it will activate brain cells that will now remember this mental image that you are holding, and therefore as the universal conscious or Spirit thought moves through you, it will create that image that you are seeing in your mind.

9) The 9th step in how to create powerful affirmations is to expect your affirmations to come true! One of my favorite quotes about creating success is by Napoleon Hill; he states, “No one is ready to receive a thing, until they believe that they can acquire it.” Wow, does that not say it all? If you do not believe that you can have something and even more, expect it!!! then you will never succeed. You must believe and expect it, period. If you do not yet truly expect it, then you will not be able to attract what you need in order to bring it into form.

10) Ultimately, nothing is going to happen in the how to create powerful affirmations process until you TAKE ACTION!
