Prosperity’s 12 Affirmations are 12 powerful affirmations of prosperity and well-being drawn from the 10 Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17) and the book Prosperity’s 10 Commandments by Georgiana Tree West. The 11th and 12th affrimations are inspired by Jesus’ 2 great commandments found in Matthew 22:37-39. Prosperity’s first 4 affirmations help to internalize ideas that contribute to establishing a prospering relationship with the Fundamental Creative Energy of the Universe – God. In this article we will look at four affirmations, which will help you internalize ideas that aid in creating prospering relationships with other people. As you use these affirmations to create your abundant life, you will begin to establish habits of language and action that will enable you to create mutually prospering relationships with other people. Affirm these affirmations daily and you make these powerful prosperity principles a basic part of your life experience.
Four Affirmations for Prospering Relationships with Others
“I maintain my highest integrity when connecting with God and interacting with God’s agents of my wealth”. Perhaps this affirmation should be “I am faithful to God and respectful of people”. The key to success with this affirmation is to stay conscious of our relationship to God, our only Source of supply. Then we will remember that others are also connected to the God-Source. In this consciousness we create the possibility for everyone with whom we interact to bless us in some way. However, we must be open and receptive to the blessing. When we maintain our integrity and treat people with respect, we empower them and they are likely to empower us, quite possibly in unexpected ways.
“I keep my wealth circulating and creating blessings for others and for me”. The Commandment upon which this affirmation is based is “Thou Shalt Not Murder”. Habitual thoughts of poverty and limitation are murderers of prosperity. We affirm this affirmation in language and in action through our generosity, tithing and giving. In using this affirmation we are creating our experience of the unimpeded circulation of wealth and abundance.
“I only use my wealth for creative, uplifting, enlightening, joyful and life affirming purposes”. This affirmation helps us to keep our motives and uses for money pure and unadulterated. We remind ourselves that money is Love in action and we focus on the positive uses of our money as a pure expression of love. With this affirmation we exercise the power of intention. When we create a field of clear intention we take advantage of the natural processes of creation to yield the object or service for which we expended a portion of our wealth but we have the added benefit of spiritual and emotional satisfaction because others are blessed and benefited by our intentions and actions.
“I always give generous and fair compensation for value received”. This affirmation helps us practice the Law of Compensation which reminds us that when we are attempting to get something for nothing, we are actually trying to steal. However, when we are willing to give fair compensation for everything we receive, we stay in the continuous flow of prosperity.
Next Steps Take action by repeating these affirmations until they feel natural to you. You may want to craft your own version of these affirmations to really make them yours. The time and energy you invest in working with the affirmations will pay large dividends in your experience of prosperity and abundance.
Home and Family Furnishings – Touch of Aesthetic and Functional Purposes
Do you aim to change the interior design of your home? Sometimes the need to redecorate our home has something to do with aiming to have a new ambiance and environment to savor at home. This is true because whatever we see inside our home may it be organized and appealing or messy and afflictive to the eyes can eventually affect our mood. Since we stay at home for the purpose of relaxation after the busy and stressful work, the need to achieve those goals leads us to become creative. Our purpose to search for unique Asian furniture is both for aesthetic and useful benefit.
If your furniture is already century old, though antique furniture is really a unique and rare collection, you cannot make it still the heart of your living-room because it is as fragile as history. You need to have another set of furnishings as valuable as your old favorite. If your aim is to replace them with another one of rare designs, seek for those with oriental touch. Usually, Asian furniture denotes the characteristics of Asian civilization. Say, cabinets inspired from Japanese kitchen or tables made from century old sturdy Korean homes. This furniture is usually made from hardy type of woods, engraved with symbolic designs and decorations. These collections will truly enhance the interior of your home.
Another on that is best to consider is to pair them with one of those electric fireplaces made available in stores today. Though there are still who patronize the traditional fireplaces, many moved on to try innovation. Actually, having one of those electric fireplaces at home is like having furniture. Imagine having a fireplace and at the same time an additional furnishing. You have definitely and completely changed your home closer to what you really aim for.
Though redecorating your home with new pieces of Asian furniture and flashy mahogany-made electric fireplaces is truly a tempting move, it is important to plan first what is perfect for your home and your family. The important thing is that they can serve their aesthetic purpose and at the same time their benefits and use to the people around them.
With the adjustable heat of your fireplace, family members can now enjoy gathering together and talk about the things that happened all day long. The user-friendly ability of electric fireplace is really one of its assets. This is because unlike the traditional fireplace, all you need to do is to turn on the switch and your aspired heat will be given to you. You may also adjust the heat according to you and your family’s need. During heavy raining season and winter, the need to warm your home is as essential as having thick clothes to fight the freezing cold. Normally, with the traditional fireplace you may need to haul as many woods as you can to maintain the fire. It is also dangerous since fire may turn uncontrolled where your family might be at risk of being caught by the fire.
Enhancing your home with furniture and electric fireplaces is a great idea provided you have perfectly planned and arranged everything to secure a safe and to set a relaxing atmosphere.

Do you have questions on affirmations? Do you wonder what they are and how to use them? Are you stumped when it comes to writing affirmations of your own? If any of the above rings true for you this series on affirmations will be very useful for you.
I have received more than a few inquiries regarding affirmations with particular requests for sample affirmations on a variety of different subject matter. Affirmations are really any thought that you think or say out-loud or to yourself all of the time.
For our intent and purposes we will refer to affirmations as being statements said with intention. You are no longer letting your mind wonder away with whatever gibberish that may have previously been common place. You are taking control of your thoughts; you are giving them your attention for your desires.
Any positive thing you say to yourself is good for your overall well-being and state of mind. However, I do believe that you’ll find your affirmations more useful if you tailor them specifically to you and your situation much like a tailor would fit you for a custom fit jacket.
Use whatever affirmations below that you like and that feel right with you. Then, once you’re comfortable, start to write some of your own that are specific to you and your ideal state.
Emotions Affect Affirmations
Remember that your affirmations are going to be much more affective that much faster if you can invoke your emotions while saying them. Your thoughts are energy and your emotions put those thoughts into motion.
You stir up a much stronger emotional response when you raise your voice and vary your inflection oppose to when you just read something off in a monotone voice.
Your emotions will be stronger still if you give your attention to the words as you say them instead of uttering the words with your mouth while your mind is wondering off on anything other than the task at hand.
Thoughts are energy and the emotions you put behind your thoughts set your life in motion. If you constantly are affirming that money is hard to come by, then don’t be surprised if you receive small raises from your employer, barely meet your social obligations, and have trouble accumulating wealth.
When did Negative Thinking Start
You’ve likely been thinking this way for a long time and if it were working for you I doubt that you’d be here, reading this article. Thinking in a way that doesn’t suite you was most likely thrust upon you as a young child by people who had learned to think and act the way they did from the people that surrounded them as a child.
Now here you sit with so much knowledge literally at your fingertips and you realize that you have the power to change your experience. It may seem too easy but I say… it’s just as easy as it should be.
If you don’t spend much of any time looking into your own eyes I can’t recommend doing it enough. I’ve done this before I even fully understood the significance or the impact of it. For me it feels like reconnecting to something within myself, like I was starring into something that knew and understood my many anguishes. Which is true, no one understands me and my experiences the way I do.
Looking into my own eyes gives me great comfort and peace and brings me back to the present moment when I have slipped off into worry about the future or sadness about the past. I am comforted and soothed with a calm that words just don’t seem to measure properly.
Another way to look at this is to realize that some of the most powerful and emotionally striking messages we’ve received have been from others who looked us directly in the eye.
You taking the time to look into your own eyes when you say something solidifies the importance and the power of your own message.
But seriously, don’t take my word for it, try it for yourself. Look into your eyes and just say hello, say I love you, or any one of the many affirmations listed below.
If you’re scoffing at this idea remember how many times you’ve stood in front of the mirror getting ready or passed by your reflection and let out a deep and heavy-hearted sigh at some aspect of your body that just measure up to how you’d like it to be.
Recall the countless times you condemned yourself for not being better at something or for not doing more in a day.
The only difference here is that instead of affirming something negative about yourself you are affirming something positive about yourself.
You can change your thinking and thereby your experience by taking control of your thoughts. You must realize that you have a say in what plays in your mind. You do not have to think thoughts that don’t suite you.
As Wayne Dyer says, “Change your thoughts and you will change your life.”
Writing Your Affirmations
When you write out affirmations of your own then do so describing your ideal situations and be specific, be crystal clear on exactly what you would like to experience. Write each one 10 times to really get them imprinted on your mind.
Below are affirmations concerning relationships. If you are not presently in a relationship the idea here is to be thinking only of the ideal relationship you desire. If you continually think of your relationship disasters then you will go on to have similar experiences as you try to move your life forward.
If you are in a relationship and wish to tailor these affirmations, then you would say something like, “Joan and I are very patient with each other.”
* My partner and I are very patient with each other.
* My partner and I are very understanding of each other.
* My partner and I hug, touch, and kiss each other all the time.
* My partner and I have a wonderful sex life.
* My partner and I are very affectionate with each other.
* My partner and I have great respect for each other.
* My partner and I are very considerate of each other.
* My partner and I genuinely enjoy each others company.
* My partner and I love to cook with each other.
* My partner and I laugh together all the time.
* My partner and I have a wonderful friendship.
* My partner and I have lives outside of our relationship.
* My partner is comfortable within his own skin.
* My partner cares about my feelings.
* My partner is honest even when it’s not easy.
* My partner has great integrity.
* My partner is a great kisser.
* My partner takes excellent care of his physical, mental, and spiritual health.
* My partner has goals and takes action to move himself towards them.
* My partner will try most anything at least once.
* My partner treats others with respect and appreciation.
* My partner appreciates affection.
* My partner is a little goofy and silly at times.
* My partner makes me laugh.
* My partner laughs more than he scowls.
* My partner loves the time he spends with family and friends.
* My partner enjoys a bit of travel.
The positive talk is great in helping you feel better and is instrumental in bringing better experiences into your life. But you’re not likely to find your ideal match sitting on your couch when you return from the bathroom during a commercial break of your favorite sit-com. You must give your words action.
You must go places, you must do things, and you must interact with the world. For example, if you’ve always wanted to learn how to khaki then take a community course with a friend, you never know who will be doing the same.
If you like to read, do so in a public place. Simply go to a coffee shop for a while, have some tea, and read for an hour or so. Join a club and become activity in the things that interest you. You are surrounding yourself with like minded people, and you are further allowing the universe to do its job.
If you want someone to cuddle you on those chili evenings you have to put yourself out into the world.
How to Use These Affirmations
Set aside a few minutes each day, preferably first thing in the morning or right before bed when your subconscious mind seems most open. Invoke your emotions, sit in front of the mirror, look into those beautiful eyes of yours and proclaim your affirmation. Get excited about the new life you are beginning, think about the new possibilities and adventures.
Give yourself praise for being brave and busting out of an old and familiar way that was getting you nowhere.
The more persistent you are with an affirmation the more it becomes the natural nature of your thoughts. You will be surprised and delighted at how differently you feel after only a short time of affirming your best life.

If you have already read any materials related to Law of Attraction, you will understand that one of the main purposes for using affirmations is to strengthen our belief system so that we can harness the power of subconscious mind to attract and manifest what we want in our life.
You may start thinking, yes I did start to affirm what I want, but it just doesn’t seem to happen as things just don’t go according to plan and seem worse than before.
In this article, we will explore 5 main reasons why your affirmation doesn’t work:
1. Verbal instead of mind reading – During the time when we are working with an affirmation, we may be just using our mind to read from the material, such as an affirmation book or affirmation card. If that’s the case, our mind will just simply read and observe it, so it doesn’t have enough energy to hold the intention and it will not be able to create a solid belief and programming. The best way is to affirm it out loud verbally. Sound is form of vibration and when we use our voice, it creates a higher frequency, thus it helps to strengthen the belief, so your subconscious mind thinks you are quite serious and mean what you are saying.
2. Don’t be greedy – sometimes we just want everything in one go, especially when it comes to affirmations. Our ego may think, ‘the more affirmations we read, the better it will go!’ But do you know, when we are reading a list of affirmations, we tend to lose focus of which affirmation we are actually focusing on? Because of this, the mind is not able to register the affirmation since it has already become confused. To counteract this, why not just pick 1 affirmation and focus on it with all your energy and enthusiasm? I would suggest that affirmations are done at least twice a day for 5 to 10 minutes every time.
3. Lack of perseverance – affirmations mean we keep on affirming what we want so that it becomes a part of the positive belief in our mind. But, most of the time we tend to lose focus and become distracted by external factors such as work challenges or relationship issues, so it is very important to set your own time and focus on the affirmation everyday without letting external challenges beat you. From the scientific and metaphysic point of view, if we keep on doing the same affirmation for 21 days, it will form a positive habit and programme within our subconscious mind, so why not set yourself a goal, do it for 21 days and also show your faith to God?
4. Lack of Feeling and Emotion – How we are feeling when we are doing our affirmation work directly affects their efficiency. If you are affirming but feeling a fear of lack or you are doing affirmations for the sake of affirming then your affirmations are not likely to work the way you want them too. Our feelings and emotions serve as the “lubricant” for affirmations so if we charge up the affirmation with positive feelings of love, joy and enthusiasm, your manifestation power will be significantly magnified. It is the same process in reverse if you affirm with emptiness or coldness, the feeling will eventually block the manifestation process and your affirmations will not work.
5. Too focused on Positive beliefs – Our subconscious mind is full of a mixture of positive and limiting beliefs that may cause inner conflict. For example, we belief we want abundance, yet we also believe we don’t deserve it. This issue is known as having dual-beliefs. So these two beliefs actually counteract the other, with the end result of nothing being achieved. When we want to cultivate positive beliefs we have to be willing to be honest with ourselves to see if we have any negative and limiting beliefs that may block the “new” positive belief that we are trying to cultivate from being manifested? To do this, create a list of negative beliefs that you may have and clear them from your subconscious mind through affirmation work. By doing this, your new and positive affirmations are able to function easily and effectively.

Can positive affirmations speed up the Law of Attraction, allowing you to manifest your dreams, quicker than you thought possible?
Yes they can, but you need to understand how they work!
It has been a necessity as a child to develop, automatic and self rehearsed, subconscious behaviour patterns. This automatic response is essential for our survival, as we need to react quickly to situations that we face from day to day.
This subconscious ‘brain training’, gives us the instinct and ability to walk down the street, without having to employ each muscle individually by our conscious mind.
It gives us the ability to drive a car, to play an instrument, to juggle; in fact it gives us our human dexterity, our fine motor skills and allows us to multi task.
So What is an Affirmation?
An affirmation is every thought or word we say, whether to ourselves or out loud.
Some of these thoughts work with us, while other thoughts will work against us, stopping us from achieving our goals and desires.
Most people have been able to make bad use of negative beliefs or ‘Negative Self-Scripts’, and before we become positively affirming we need to learn about the effects of negativism in our lives.
What are Negative Self-Scripts
Negative Self-Scripts are ideas and beliefs about ourselves that are self-damaging, these are ideas about our own personality and ability that have we have passed to our subconscious, through bad or undesirable life experiences.
Negative Self-Scripts are negative beliefs you have about yourself, which you remind yourself daily by sprinkling your everyday conversation. Self-deprecating remarks, which influence your behaviour or beliefs.
These could include negative descriptions given to you by members of your family or peer group when you were younger, that you hold even to this day or possibly negative feedback you get from your spouse, boss, teacher, colleagues, children, parents, relatives, or others that you take personally, and incorporate into your personal belief system.
They could also be negative self-images you have of your body, looks, face, weight, colouring, hair, feet, or other parts of your body, or maybe negative assessment you or others have made of your skills, ability, knowledge, intelligence, creativity, or common sense. You have agreed with this internally and, thus, believe it true of you.
Negative Self-Scripts could include negative stories about your past behaviour, failures, or performances that you run over in your mind and influence your current conduct or maybe attitudes about the possibility of your achievement of success in your life.
Here are some other ways that Negative Self-Scripts can be shown;
Feelings of anger, resentment, hostility, rage or guilt
Negative prophecies that you or others have made about yourself, your future, your success, your relationships, your family, or your health
Ways in which you deny yourself rewards for your goodness, hard work and caring
Feelings of over-responsibility with which you burden yourself.
Dread and fear you have when facing your future; the belief that you do not have what it takes to survive or to be successful in whatever circumstances you face.
Feelings of failure you harbour about real or imagined mistakes in the past and your “assured” failures in the future.
Feelings of jealousy and inferiority.
What are Positive Affirmations?
Very simply, positive affirmations are short positive statements, designed to replace negative beliefs, with positive self-nurturing beliefs. Although the idea of the use of positive affirmation and meditation is often associated to some New Age “hocus pocus”, nothing could be farther from the truth.
These ideas are based on sound solid medical facts, and deal with the science of your mind and neural biology.
Positive affirmations are no mystery to you, in fact you have used them many times before.
Its that sentence you kept saying to yourself when you were learning to ride a bike, its your determination, do you think that you could ever have ridden down the street, if your thoughts and beliefs were, ‘I can not’.
A positive affirmations is every sentence that you have said to yourself in determination to succeed, always starting with ‘I will’ or ‘I can’.
Using Positive Affirmations
When you are writing positive affirmations it is important to structure each thought or statement as a ‘belief’. You must believe.
The bigger the gap between the perceived negative inner truth and the expressed positive affirmations, the more challenging, and possibly the more damaging, this exercise will be.
Therefore, start this exercise using small believable positive thoughts and statements and practise.
Any affirmation exercise would involve, repeating words of positive affirmations with passion and conviction and for as long as you do so, you will consistently breakdown your subconscious negative beliefs, no matter how ‘set in concrete’ they may seem.
If you are uncomfortable with positive affirmations and statements, take it down a step, listen to your emotions, far better to chip away in small steps, than fall at the foot of an ‘Everest’ of a negative, and undermine the whole process.
Similarly, if you are experiences a sense of exhilaration at an affirmation, you are responding in a way that ‘your mind knows this to be true’, it is working.
Starting this process is the first step, small steps are easier, but finishing each step is the key.
Charles Haanel, in his book The Master Key, tells us that one of the strongest positive affirmations you can use, to strengthen the will and realize your power to accomplish, is,
“I can be what I will to be.”
He tells us that,
“Every time you repeat this positive affirmation realize who and what this “I” is; try to come into a understanding of the true nature of the “I”; if you do, you will become invincible; that is, provided that your objects and purposes are constructive and are therefore in harmony with the creative principle of the Universe.”
We use the audio version of Haanel Master Key Book, in the Law-of-Attraction-Guide training programme, Unlock The Power of You,
Charles Haanel’s Law of Attraction Affirmation lessons tell us to “Hold in mind the condition desired and affirm it as an already existing fact”.
Although it is a far better exercise to write your own affirmations, by pinpointing your own negative self scripts and targeting changes that you would like to see in your life, a good source of pre-written positive affirmations can be taken from Ernest Holmes’s book The Science of Mind.
This book deals with the principles of Creation, God and the Law of Attraction and Holmes devotes a whole chapter, to the most comprehensive list of affirmations I have seen.
To read The Science of Mind, enroll at our training programme Unlock The Power of You.
If you have read Ernest Holmes list of positive affirmations, you will see that many affirmations reference God. Why?
I have written in many pages, about the connection between Spirituality and the Law of Attraction. I have also stated that one of the first self help books ever written, is the Old Testament.
To apply the Law of Attraction, we cover various methods, visualization, affirmations and meditations. We find these very same teachings in the Bible, visualizations and meditation in the form of prayer and The Bible is full of words of affirmation.
The purpose of a positive affirmation is to change your negative self-script and of course there are many ways to help your mental retraining.
Traditionally you would repeat positive affirmation, to assert your desired belief and cancel your negative undesired belief, but of course there are ways to help this process along.
The positive affirmations exercise page has some great tips on using affirmation cards.
Vision Boards are great tools and can be made quite inexpensively, you can also get Affirmation Software for your computer, which is ideal for anyone who spends a lot of time in front of the screen.
There are also Affirmation MP3 and CD’s on the market that claim to be scientifically proven to train your brain to go into the ideal mental state for focused visualization, so you can harness the full power of The Law of Attraction.
John Peace is a Law of Attraction Practitioner and advises people on applying the Law of Attraction and mastering Cause and Effect principles. He also runs an training program called ‘Unlock The Power of You’.
